Hey, all! I've been trying to find a group to play with, preferably bi-weekly on the same week as today, but on Fridays, but I haven't had any luck just yet. I'm new to Roll20, regardless of being a member since last year. I only recently started looking into it to branch out to players in other areas. I don't ask much, however, I do have a few things I do ask of. 1. I'm looking to play in a 5e or a Pathfinder game at the moment, however, I've been looking into the GUMSHOE system and wouldn't mind giving that a go either. 2. I prefer no homebrew races or classes, UNLESS it's officially published material. Anything I can find on DnD Wikia is a no-go for me. However, I'm perfectly find with Matt Mercer's Critical Role stuff. In fact, I encourage it. 3. We're here to have fun, yes, however, if a group gets extremely childish and I'm playing with a bunch of rules lawyers that want to argue every step of the way, I'll bail quick. I don't want this, and I don't think anyone should ever want this type of behavior in their game. 4. I'm a 33 year old married male. While some may be okay with gaming with people under the age of 18 on here that they don't know, I am not. I'd much prefer a full party of adults, and that being said, I do not mind mature content, however, if it's what your game is 100% centered around, I am the type that will point this out. 5. I really want to be able to have fun and make new friends here. I won't tolerate bashing other players or anything of the sort. It's just not cool. In addition to this, I'm a-okay with playing with anyone from the LBGT community, but don't make a big deal out of it. I'm bi and that's all any of us need to know about it. Five very simple things that shouldn't be too difficult now that I'm actually posting to the forum instead of just looking in the "Find a Game" tab. I've been roleplaying for 20 years now in a wide variety of play styles, and I'm hoping that some day, I'll be able to be a voice actor or get my first film or TV show off the ground. Dreams but maybe one day they'll come true! Thanks for your time and checking this out! Feel free to message me and let me know if you're interested or want to give me details on your game to see if I'm interested! -Matches Edit: I'm not opposed to playing on Saturdays, however, I do need to stick to an early morning or mid day game if that is the day someone needs to run on. I work Sundays through Thursdays. I'm in the Central Time Zone as well. Friday overnight games are perfectly fine by me.
