[LFP][Pathfinder] Weekly Sundays 1700(5pm) EST

Hello! I have been DMing IRL for years, have yet to try it on Roll20. I’m looking to setup a nice easy fun Murderhobo game to learn how to do it =p I might try to turn it into some kind of coherent storyline, but so far the plan is to go around slaughtering monsters, looting them and repeating. 20 point buy, no stat below 8 Core Races only Any Piazo class, if there is an unchained version you use it. Unchained skills only for Unchained Rogue Leadership, Constructs and Mindless Undead are OK Evil Characters are ok, but party conflict is not. If we get good clerics/paladins no Evil Characters. Milestone Leveling will be used. Expect to level every 3-4 sessions. Just because I’m running Murderhobo doesn’t mean you always have to kill everything and talking will be worthless *wink wink nudge nudge* Rule of Cool is a thing If you’re interested in playing please reply, give me an interesting character concept not just the usual “Pick meh!!1!” I will pick the best 4-5 concepts on Wednesday, and have a session zero/session one next Sunday(19Nov). Any other questions please ask!
Forgot to mention, Discord is required.
Pick meh!!1!
How do u feel about simi new player. I have played about 3-4 sessions of pathfinder but nothing to extensive.
Totally fine John!
Hmm, this might be a good opportunity to get back into PF! The time is a touch late for me but as long as the sessions don't run for -too- long I would be rather fine with it. For some time now I've been playing around with the idea of a spellcaster that's more about fun than anything else, namely a cranky evocation wizard that's a mage college dropout. Who knows, it might turn into something more! Looking forward to hearing from you.
Maldric the Battlemage: His elvan mother worked at a school of spellcasting while his human father was a hired guard for a high ranking official. We had to live outside of the cities due to the fact that humans and elves is frowned upon which lead to the only education i got was from my mother and father. At the age of 17 my father did not return from his shift. Mother tried to get info on what happened to him but only got rude comments. At the age of 23 i was helping my mother in the garden late afternoon when a group of 6 men in dark colored cloaks arrived on horseback. They attacked us, one of the grabbed my mother while 3 held me back until they became aggressive and beat me to the point of death or at least they thought. I awoke to fined my mother hanging from the pear tree in the back yard striped of her cloths and the house blazing with intense heat.I vowed at that moment i would do everything i could to stop these types of events from happening to others. Thorok the cleric: As a young dwarf enjoyed his fathers stories of the adventures that he was a part of. His mother tended to the temple and  took care of many of the victims of the continues goblin attacks. My mother would take me to the temple sometimes to help with the injured after the large attacks. At the age of 52 i became an apprentice of the local blacksmith learning how to make fine weapons and armor. At the age of 98 my father told me he was going  on a journey to retrieve an ancestral relic of our clans leader from 200 years ago, but it would be some time before they were ready to leave. It was at that point i used my skills as a blacksmith to make a weapon that was a mix between a battleaxe and a warhammer, it took me several months to make but was able to finish it before he left. At the age of 104 my father has not returned and my mother was upset with concern  and that is when i packed my gear and headed out in search of my father and the relic to uphold my ancestors honor as well as our clans honor.
Still looking for peeps
Is it taking place in the Golarion setting or one of your own design?
Looks like this could be an entertaining campaign. I'd certainly be interested, since I have an unorthodox character concept I've been wanting to try out. Her name is Infre Blodhyle, a chaotic neutral Raging Cannibal human barbarian who is haunted by a fragment of a Wendigo spirit. Born in relative isolation in a land far to the north, her parents were members of an animistic cult led by a zealous madman who preached the virtues of savagery and the vices of civilization. When Infre was just 5 years old, the cultists were led on a mad vision quest into the untamed wilds in search of 'inner purity'. Naturally, this ended in disaster. Much of the cult died from exposure and starvation, but the dogged few who survived still followed unquestioningly. Among them were Infre's parents, somehow keeping their child alive by hoarding food and other supplies. As the winter grew ever colder, the cult leader began to lose his mind entirely. Within days he contracted Wendigo psychosis, and went on a cannibalistic rampage. Barely any of the cultists escaped his predations, but Infre's mother managed to carry her to the relative safety of a nearby settlement. Though she doesn't remember any of these events, the close encounter with a Wendigo spirit had a profound effect on Infre. As she grew older and learned to survive in her adopted community, she struggled with bestial urges and animalistic senses that compelled her to spend much of her free time wandering the frozen woods, hunting with her bare hands and voracious teeth. Eventually these alarming habits came to a head and she was all but exiled from her woodland village. Though the Wendigo fragment within Infre's psyche gave her invaluable tools to survive life in the wilderness, it also serves as a sort of siren song that gradually draws the original Wendigo towards her. One day- perhaps decades away- the Wendigo will come to make itself whole again, and only one of them will survive that encounter.
Its being run in a pretty simple Homebrew. You'll be starting in a small mountain town of Perlshaw, its about a day south of a small Dwarven Hold. It uses Greyhawk Gods :)
I am interested in joining, I will post a character conceptwh en i get off work. Also is 5pm est set as the time or is it something that can be wiggled back a little bit on Sundays?
I would be interested. I would like to play an avariel elf fighter with a cursed bastard sword that haunts and taunts him. His wife has long since been missing and he now presumed her dead while their young son is being hidden away safely. Now my character seeks to wonder the realm in search of the reason why this blade haunts him, no matter who he has gone too none seem able to part the blade from him. Being told that it was as if the blade has become apart of his being.  Making subtle hints and jabs at him that the blade knows what happened to his wife and maybe even if she truly is or isn’t dead he seeks a way of freeing himself of the blade or using it to help rid the world of evil to make it a safer place for his son who he fears to be around. Unsure of the extent of the blades influence over him.  Just a rough character idea but let me know if you’d be interested in taking me on.  I am new to 5e but I have experience in 2e and very minor experience in 3.5  but im confident I’ll be able to learn quickly and would love some hack and slash mindless gameplay to better get a grip on the game mechanics more or less

Question, it says you have to use unchained if your class has it, might i ask why?
Adam W. Its Pathfinder, not 5E... Tsedas its because the unchained classes make their classes semi-usable? Except Summoner, it nerfs the hell outta Summoner and makes it not retarded as hell -.-
Still need one, perferably two players, if anyone is interested! And Tsedas I just say your first question, might be able to scosh the start time a little earlier, but would have to talk to everyone once were all ready to go :)

Well I have three ideas for characters(Rogue, Bard, Gunslinger), here's what I have so far: Arsene Thermidor the Half-elf Rogue : Arsene is a man of many faces, often hiding his darker or more sinister aspects behind a charming smile and polite gesture. But in some cases, the dagger in your back might just come from the man holding the door open for you. Born from a tryst between his elven father and human mother, he was born and left in the care of his mother in his early years. Growing up, he never knew his father and for good reason. His father was considered an esteemed man of 'honor' and the implication of a bastard son like Arsene was nothing more than scandalous. Just before his mother passed, she told Arsene who his father was and he set off in search of the man. However instead of a family reception, he was met with hostility and a cool reception after being expelled violently from his father's home. Living in the elven city for a few years, Arsene learned how to handle a blade, move like a shadow, and steal from those undeserving of what they've got. Slipping away one cool summer's eve, the half-elf made his way into the world and never looked back. Now he makes a living doing mercenary work when it fancys him, but mostly he conducts himself as a kind of thief for hire as he finds the thrill of a heist more exhilirating than anything else he's ever done. Geese Clavat Vilborne Flugel the Gnome Bard : A life on the road is Geese has ever known. Lost in a poker game by his father, Geese was wagered against the pot. While many thought it foolhardy to use a toddler, the man that took in Geese after the game thought it brilliant. Spending much of his childhood being tutored by the caravan owner, Geese has a surprisingly good education and often puts it to use if a variety of ways that prove either useful to friends or for a good laugh. Clever as he is, Geese is even more charming than he is intelligent. All through his life, the gnome was taught many things to be of use to his foster 'family' and learned to be a skilled musician, devious wordsmith, and even learned a bit of magic along the way. Using his voice to croon for a crowd, he'd often allow his caravan time to pick the pockets of those not being astute enough to take their eyes off the dashing Gnome before them. However those days came to an abrupt halt when city guards started to arrest caravan members, forcing them all to flee. Before parting ways, the man that raised Geese granted him his freedom before shoving a coinpurse in the gnome's hands and sending him off. Alone, Geese wandered the lonely roads and performed wherever he went to earn enough coin to get by. Waleria Vernier the Human Gunslinger : There is little Waleria wants to remember about his life. His childhood was ruined when his village was raided and brought an end to his family and friends. He was spared merely for the saving grace he was a child and like many other children in the village, he was ripe for the slave trade. Taken miles and miles from his home, probably from anywhere he's ever heard of, he was sold to a man that built siege engines of war. Waleria's owner, Reis, was trying to build up war machines for a local lord to win the lords favor. Reis' competition was much younger and could build siege engines faster than the older man, making Reis need a helping hand... or 8 in this case. After buying four children, he taught them how to build siege weapons, educated them in mathematics to ensure they could measure and cut properly, and generally gave them skills in the field of engineering. Despite his grief and newfound position in life, Waleria took to what he was taught better than the other children and even spied on Reis in the night when the old man worked on some special project. In time, Reis won the Lord's favor and sold the other boys off as he had no more use for them. Waleria remained his slave/pupil and continued to learn how to craft weapons of war, but his curiousity got the better of him one day and he managed to find Reis' secret project. it was some kind of metal tube attached to a wooden handle, but there were pieces parts that weren't installed yet and it was baffling to behold. When confronted about the project, Reis informed Waleria on it's inner workings after scalding the young man for snooping around where he wasn't supposed to. Waleria aided Reis in constructing and refining the weapon that the younger of the two came to learn was called a pistol, a type of firearm or gun as Reis called it at times. After spending years working on the pistol, Reis became very ill and knew he wasn't long for this world. As Reis passed on, Waleria scrounged what he could from his former owner's home before setting ablaze, not caring enough about the building or how long he'd lived there to ever return. Now, wandering the land, Waleria seeks to improved his skills as a crafter of firearms in addition to his skills as an engineer.
