Old Hippie looking for a company to adventure with long term,

Greetings and thanks for stopping , well to get right at it, I have played RPG’s my whole life.. D&D was one of my first and as they evolved from paper to electronics,I kept pace up to date. Some months ago a group of my friends had started playing a few older board games when one brought up D&D, so I ebayed me a 5e D&D starter set.. Started looking up and refreshing myself a little better… then I found whole campaigns events on Youtube(hours I watched)..and that led me here to Roll20!! I am still having some questions about some savings thows.. but I feel like I am good to play if I could find a patient and adventurous company. Looking to play D&D 5E, Long term campaigns if possible, from scratch would be great, again its been a little while and would like to grow my char a bit from the bottom up. I am available 5:00pm till midnight mon-thur EST           5:00pm till whenever Friday-n/or-Sat                 NO SUNDAYS

Welcome back into the hobby, John. Some of us still play old-school editions of D&D on here as well, if you want to check out some of the systems you mentioned starting and evolving with.

Hello John S.,     Wow, your post pretty much describes me too!  From watching on youtube, to getting back into it and what you're looking for.  I don't DM but I am also looking for a long term campaign and would love to start from scratch.  I have been playing a few 1 shots recently in 5E.  If you find a group that needs another please let me know.  Good luck!
