Cyberpunk/Shadow Run

lately I've wanted to play a Cyberpunk or Shadow Run game, probably shadow run as its the most up to date and widely known but cyber might work if I get enough interest. I am happy to gm but keep in mind I am a massive noob when it comes to both these games, and if its shadow run i will impose a hard no magic rule, I would allow psionics im sure that there is a whole book on them lol. Thing is i just dont see why there is any magic in this setting i mean there's no point and wildly anachronistic with the rest of the game. Metahumans kinda work you know i mean Genetic engineering and all but still. So yeah LFG Cyberpunk/ShadowRun No magic setting, let me know which
well if your offering to DM then id be interested also *cough* spoony *cough*
As a long time SR fan, BLASPHEMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! j/k lol, seriously though, Magic is a very important piece of shadowrun...You may want to read up on SR a bit more before deciding you dont like the magic part, and w/o magic, i wouldnt even go near SR, Cyberpunk is the way to go since the setting already doesnt have a bunch of stuff you dont want in it.
Would love to do Cyberpunk, long time player and GM of CP2020, have also used some of the cyber evolved material in 2020 game. EST here, so let me know if you decide to run something.
SR with no magic...  party foul
Ive never played ether game before but they both seem cool. If you can deal with a noob I'd love to join.
Id love to play some cyberpunk!
I would be interested in a shadowrun game
I would love to try Cyberpunk, but I've never actually played that game.

Kinda this - A lot of people don't dig SR for the magic (William Gibson hates it, for example) and that's fair enough, but if you want to run a game without magic you'd be better off running Cyberpunk.  As for it being anachronistic, the game's premise is that magic returned to the world in 2012.  Not everyone's thing but give it a read. There's no book on Psionics though. Psionics in SR is a school of magic, using the same rules and spells as all other magic.
so maybe a really low magic setting, not that it matters as im getting way more votes for cyberpunk2020... Wednesdays?
Wednesdays are cool.
Shadowrun rules, though extra crispy crunchy, are more coherent. Punk setting, though a bit dated, wins for coherence. It would be interesting to see how Shadowrun handled Punk w/no magic chaser.
Id take a Solo over a Street Samurai.
Too many moon fx to accurately assess.
I'm up for cp2020.
