[LFP] Pathfinder Wednesdays at 7:00 PM CST

Long time DM looking for two more players to join a pathfinder campaign in an original setting inspired by meiji era japan.So far i only have one player and we are currently looking for 3 players to round the group out. She is playing a Dervish Bard.  In this nation only one rules above all, the dragon king and his human wife. Recently they have welcomed a son , the first half dragon prince, into their lives. At the king's side is his brother,Michio, captain of the royal guard and his general Reizo keep the palace and royal family safe. Rumors have recently spread of a border dispute with the neighboring nation of Ho-Shin, though the royal family has been downplaying this recently, in reality more soldiers guard the port and sentries have begun patrols more regularly and with larger numbers than before. On top of all this, technology has trickled in along with the forgen merchants and traditions seem to be fading away in favor of progress. The revolver and the lever action rifle have given power to the once powerless and crime has risen as a result. Meanwhile Wizards and sorcerers struggle to pass on their teachings to a new generation as more and more pass on learning magic. if you are interested please PM me or leave a message

I am interested in joining.  I will admit that I don't know that much about meiji era japan and will have to do some research for character ideas, but I am always up for new things.  The one thing I will have to ask is how long you plan to run for each session, I am in EST and I need to know if you plan to run for more than 4 hours to see if I can still be able to squeeze in enough sleep at night.  A little bit about me:  I have been doing pen and paper roleplaying for about 8 years in a wide variety of systems, although in the last 4 years that has been mostly as a DM and I have been yearning to find a group that I don't have to DM for.

sessions usually last about 2 hours and we communicate using skype.

As long as it does not go over 4 hours a session, I will be perfectly fine to play.

Hey, interested in potentially joining this game. Been feeling like playing an oriental character but they just don't fit into most campaigns well. I've been playing tabletops for almost ten years, starting when I was a kid with 3.5, but almost exclusively pathfinder for a while. Definitely interested in more details concerning how this will be run, mostly with regards to your play style as a DM, and the other players involved. Sounds like a good time, though.

My game style normally a 50/50 on rp and combat. I prefer sandboxes but I am open to AP. I like the gish style classes or straight arcane casters classes. If you have nay questions please ask. tyvm
