From the Office of the President of the United States

Greetings operatives of DynaTech: I am Nancy Gabriel, former Deputy Director of NCIS, now acting President of the United States of America.  The delay in contacting you is of course a result of getting the hierarchy straightened out and then marshaling what  military resources we have remaining.  Add to that the fact that you have located yourselves away from DynaTech proper which has made finding you difficult until now.  We are happy that you have gained control of Cheyenne Mountain and have had word from self appointed Emperor Pope John I that you will soon be taking control of a rather large and sophisticated space faring vessel in order to combat a very dangerous threat heading this direction. Given the recent failings of nuclear power plants on a global scale, the severely reduced size in population and various mythological beings popping up, we feel that it is time that we sat down and had a talk with you about your endeavors.  DynaTech is working with Agent Vitt Houz on creating a solution to the radiation fallout, but until then the government has set itself up in Kansas City, MO.  Interpol has mentioned possibly dispatching an agent to work with you and Agent Noir Smith will be arriving at your location shortly to accompany you.  We are attempting to bring the entire population of the world together given our limited population and look forward to speaking with you soon. Acting PotUS, Nancy Gabriel
Hmmm....  Sounds like after doing such a bang up job, they are concerned about being made irrelevant.  Still they probably have resources we could use and theoretically at least politicians are still human though bureaucrats will have a difficult time passing the sniff check, considering their generally souless nature.
