[LFG][21+] Gm looking to assemble a team

Hi, I am an experienced Female GM looking for a group Or individuals interested in forming a group.  1 more player to round out the group. I am passionate about storytelling, Immersive characters and Intriguing plots. I prefer rules light-ish systems such as Apocalypse, Fate, WoD Etc. But im up to run nearly anything as long as we can make it fun! Im in the mood for something between shadowrun and World of Darkness. I also really love superpowers / x-men / Heroes style games Scheduling is very flexible for me since i work from home. I am CST (GMT -5) Looking at mostly late afternoon / evening Thursday - Sunday  The Time slot is Tuesday or Wednesday Evenings Adults over 21+ only please. Most of us are around 30 and would like to have others out age. I want players who wont back down from challenging roleplay. This wont be a game about mechanics, it will be about Characters! Voice involvement is required. And players are expected to be in control of the environment around them and take reasonable measures to prevent Excessive background noise, loud animals, Children, noisy keyboards, and other auditory nuisances. And to generally minimize Distractions during game time. EDIT: To clarify on this. Granted I only have experience in CoC and DnD5e/3.5 but i am willing to learn a new system, especially if it has the right kind of people! I'd be interested, depending in the times things ran. I'm for sure tied up on Fridays 5-9 EST running a Heroes style game using Mutants and Masterminds, on Sunday afternoon playing in a more traditional game. Certain weeknights can be problematic, depending on what's up. But if the scheduling works out I'm in.

Hey, i havnt really played many tabletop RPGs so im not too familiar with a lot of the rule sets, but i would be interested in playing.  I LARP'd for ~3 years when i was in my early teens, and RP'd on a ton of other video games, so i know how to "play" a character. Hey there Kaiju and friends!  This sounds like a group after my own dark heart. :) I'm a long time role player in both pen and paper ( mostly d&d) and online gaming (Ultima online) - and I have a decent amount of experience as a dm/storyteller. That being said - I've always been infatuated with the world of darkness, but I've had depressingly little opportunity to play within the dark and eerie sandbox aside from being the ST myself. If start time would be around 8pm Cst start time I would be interested in playing any of those things. Long time gamer with a lotnof experience in all those games and genres. I'm available anytime on discord. 

I'd also like to throw in my interest for something of this nature. I've always been a big fan of the story and character building over combat, except for the dark couple of months where I played D&D 4E and did more character optimizing than roleplaying, but I've tried to block that dark time from my memory. I've really been gravitating towards PbtA systems myself recently, and I've got experience with several different hacks, including Masks, MonsterHearts, Monster of the Week, and more. I've also played both FATE and the Dresden Files version. I'm big fan of urban fantasy and superheroes, and I've been looking for games like that for years, especially the latter, with so much bad luck on that front it's a wonder I keep trying. I'm in PST but my schedule is also pretty flexible, so I probably wouldn't have any trouble making a game time aimed more towards CST work. The only day I have right now that is for sure off limits would be Monday evenings, as I'm currently playing in a not-Shadowrun game in that time slot that uses the setting and lore, but ditches the mechanics in favor of something simpler. I'd probably be down for something else a little more contemporary or superhero oriented if there was enough support for that as an option.

This sounds like a good group and I'd love to be a part of it! I've played a variety of roleplaying games over the years my favorite being the more narrative and character based ones. I love crafting a good story and creating compelling drama for everyone to enjoy. I've played WoD, PbTA, GURPS, and many others. I've also run a variety of games and I'm happy to run something if you're looking to make this a multi game sort of group!

I'm a bit late to the party, but I'm interested! I'm 31, Female, and love to roleplay over quibbling about rules! I've played a bunch of different systems, and love everything from D&D 5E to WoD (and various spin offs from that such as Scion and Chronicles of Darkness) to M&M 3e. I will say that as a rule, I won't play FATE, I find it tedious and frustrating to create a character in. I'd much rather stat out a character and then build to what the numbers tell me than try to do them at the same time like FATE and systems like it require. I am a writer both by trade and as a hobby, and consider myself by far a ROLEplayer, over a roll-player. Anything that furthers the story will be what I jump on, and I can often be relied upon to write short stories and scenes of what is happening with my character during down time. It would be lovely to have a chance to play with another female, especially one who is the GM (I GM a game on Wednesdays and even in that situation I'm the only female involved) as I feel like having another woman around will cut back on some of the potential awkward and creepiness that can happen when you're the only female in the group. I do have a child but I'm usually good about muting myself when I'm not talking and he mostly keeps to himself when Mommy is gaming (he's 10 so he's more interested in being on his XBOX or switch than pestering me anyway). I'm EST time and free most evenings with the exception of Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, so depending on the day and time you want to play, I'd be down.

Hey, It's nice to see that when someone posts that they want more than rollplaying and tactical combat, several quality players come out of the woodwork. 30s, CST, lots of experience, good headset, voice-acting standard, schedule is usually flexible, but Sundays are out and for the next couple weeks Thursday are out too (in two other groups those days).  Style-wise, I think Apocalypse World nailed it when it told us to be a fans of the players' characters, and that should apply whether we are GMs or players. I cringe a bit when I hear/see players tuning out when it isn't their scene. I think if you care about all the characters, you'll have the desire and patience to let them do their thing when that's appropriate, but also want to get involved in their lives in interesting, messy, and complicated ways. The whole 'adventuring party who kill for xp and gold' dynamic isn't for me. I think players should be both getting in each others' way and helping each other out in equal measure. There's more about me and my playstyle in my bio. I prefer PbtA, but I'm very open and make a point of trying new systems. I think a well-chosen ruleset can help tell the stories that we want to tell. I'm wary of WoD for that reason; the setting is engrossing and fantastic but from everything I've heard, seen, and read, the rules don't support the sort of social intrigue-heavy stories that WoD players are trying to tell. I'd be happy to be proven wrong on this, though.

not sure if you are still looking but if you are I am interested. I am in my 30s have a limited bit of experience in D&D and while I have not play WOD or fate I thematically think WOD would be awesome and based on some research FATE I think is probably my system of choice but I have not actually had the chance to play. Fate seems to really leave things open to the imagination and can work in any setting and seems to really be set on the premise of creative players which interests me. I have a consistent schedule and am EST and any night except Friday would work for me and even Friday might work eventually if that game falls apart. So send me a message if your still looking

Just wanted to throw my hat in here just in case it might get spotted a little later, I was hoping to get involved with some more story based games and this thread is looking to shape up nicely to a group that is dedicated to doing the same thing. If there is any spot remaining, then I'd enjoy having a crack at it and telling some stories.

Not sure if you're still in the run for a last player but I'm popping in to say I'm interested. 25, a quiet home with no kids, work 5 days a week but I'm free after 4PM EST week days after this week. Previous experience with various DnD editions and homebrews, Shadowrun and (to a certain extent) FATE. Also some older tabletop RPGs like ACK. Always willing and interested to learn and try new systems and settings.
