Pulling out

I posted in the Mentor forums but I need to offer an explanation here. I've been offline too long and I have a lot of catching up to do w/ my business.  I'm not the greatest at this computer stuff and this mode of play is more labor-intensive than live play. That's what I'm going to stick with from now on (tho pbp is still viable). Aside from that, I'm still struggling to get moved in and with a new fiancé (combining 12 decades of living) and 3 dogs, life is just too hectic. My apologies.
As a 10year and recently married fellow, I sympathize; it's a hectic and busy process (though an enjoyable one). Enjoy the downtime away from the community, and hopefully we'll see you back when life is more accomodating to you :)
Games were the best when it was just a bunch of friends, in a basement, and  it was abnormal. Envy the local game really. I'd stick to that myself given the option.
Yeah, local frpers are pretty sparse here too, the gamer crowd is mostly cards and video.
CCGs. Burn 'em. I understand the video though. Many defectors.  RPGame called on account of crickets and tumbleweeds. Plug in, pick up, and play is the name of the game now. I'm curmudgeony though. 'In the day' when Gygax roamed and ruled, we were the CCG people, with the war gamer long beards grumbling and grousing like dwarves past nap time. *shrugs.
