(Interest Check, Pathfinder, Text) Kingmaker

Cross posting this from the Knights of the Written Word 2 group. As such, I will quote it. "Hello everyone! Now, this is just an interest check because I have no idea what peoples schedules are like or anything like that, but I have been wanting to run a more in-depth Kingmaker that goes just beyond the base game and includes things like the unofficial adventure expansions by Legendary Games, exploration into some iconic locales listed in the Guide to the River Kingdoms , an expanded Kingdom-building system, random weather tables, revamped encounters that fix Kingmaker's biggest problem: fights being designed like typical dungeon encounters despite the party having days of rest in between most hex encounters, a fix to the story that adds more foreshadowing and depth for the villain, new magic items tailored to help with both adventuring and maintaining the PCs kingdom, optional hexes that have unique kingdom effects if taken, and more. Before I go and create a recruitment, I would just like for people to list a few things for me so we can figure out what works best for most and go from there. 1. What time zone are you in and what times can you play? I am in the EST time zone, but have some odd hours due to my work. What hours I can post from is pretty much determined by the day of the week, so it is essential for me to see what times other people are able to play if I am to create the recruitment. 2. Is gestalt a thing you would be interested in? I don't care either way and I adjust encounters accordingly whenever I do use it. If it's a dealbreaker for a lot of people, I can just as easily run the game normal. 3. Are you fine with homerules like the http://michaeliantorno.com/feat-taxes-in-pathfinde... ? I plan on using tweaks like that in the game to provide a more enjoyable experience. I will also be altering rules like Leadership and cutting things like Sacred Geometry entirely. 4. What is your preferred roleplay to gameplay ratio? I tend to like my games to have an equal mix or a slightly higher amount of roleplay, but I adore well-crafting combat encounters too much to completely sacrifice them for yet more roleplay. After all, the game is Pathfinder RPG, not one of the World of Darkness iterations. 5. Are you looking to use anything outside of official Paizo material? I am a bit leery of allowing 3PP material in the Kingmaker game solely because I want it to have a certain vibe of classic Swords and Sorcery feel and introducing Machinesmiths and Dragonriders sort of ruins that vibe."

Ohhhhh, Kingmaker is Popular Most of the Time, you wont lack applications. 1. EST. Best at /Tuesday/wednesday/thursday evening , Sunday early afternoon or evening. Weekly or every other week. 2. Never tried. Seems hard to balance. Id probably prefer classic. But im willing to try. 3.totally fine. 4. I like both. Maybe 35 roll/65 role for a Kingmaker game, assuming Kingdom gestion is the important thing. 5. I know of a half faerie dragon module which is bananas for a fey heavy campaign. Others, as long as it paizo im all good , its simpler to track that way. Maybe the only thing i dislike are occultes classes, had two bad expériences out of two Games with players having that. looking forward to a recrutment post if It fits your needs!
Hi, me and my friend are very interested in joining something like this 1. PST, not in the mornings before 11:59am preferrably, in a month tuesday afternoon (5-9pm my time) becomes a problem for me. 2. I'd prefer classic, gestalt is fine too, I agree with PBE that it seems hard to balance and brings weird new dynamics 3. Fine with this either way 4. I like both, 40/60, I expect to get invested in the kingdom building aspect 5. Classic is fine for me again, I don't mind 3pp as long as it isn't too crazy
1. EST I'm mostly free around the 2-8 EST times can do really early mornings like 6-8 AM too but afternoons are tough for me 2. Classic would be my pref but gestal is okay if needed. 3. Perfectly fine with this 4. 40 roll/60 Role works perfect for me 5. I'm gonna be going classic 3pp is perfectly fine with me just make sure it isn't stupidly insane

Kingmaker is about as popular as it gets, when it comes to Pathfinder. 1. I'm in GMT, but that honestly makes little difference. One of the games I'm in is ran by an Australian, another, by an American. I work from home, so scheduling for games isn't an issue. 2. I do like Gestalt, but I equally like Vanilla. I suppose I have about a 60/40 preference. I like making builds that can do very unique things, even if they're not necessarily powerful, and Gestalt opens up entire worlds of options. 3. Feat Tax is basically essential in my book. 4. I prefer about a 50/50 mix, but I can survive without the latter, but not the former. Roleplay is why we do this, and not just play computer games after all. 5. I prefer pure paizo, when people start bringing in things like Spheres of War and all sorts of nonsense it throws thematics and balance right out the window.
I will check on the compiled time periods of potential players and may have a recruitment up soon.

1. Mountain Time Zone. I work rotating shifts with random days off, but for December mostly from 15:00 - 23:00, so ending before 1400 would work best for me most days. I get my schedule a month ahead of time, and will probably be rotating more again starting January. When I rotate, it's different each week with my shift times being either 0700-1500, 1500-2300, or 2300-0700, with 2 random days off. 2. Not especially interested in gestalt. A single class is complicated enough to bog me down as it is. 3. No problem. 4. Hard to say. Depends on my character. I get bored with the GM telling us, "alright, take some time to roleplay between yourselves" with no context. Roleplay in the context of an ongoing and engaging adventure though is fun. 5. I'd personally stick to only Paizo stuff.
Is there any chance that this happens or did it fall through?
1. the only time i am NOT available would be wednesday nights after 9pm est through friday evenings 6pm. 2. I love the gestalt rules, but am fine if the group doesn't want to use them, though i think the +2 LA template is more than balanced. ((its very similar to 2e d&d multiclassing)) 3. Fine with homerules, i actually like that feat tax revision and have a few suggestions of my own to pitch to you if you're interested, I would like to know what changes you have planned for leadership, asking because kingmaker is a perfect game for the feat, but i understand if its too much headache to have a party of 4-6 with each having a cohort and a small army of their own. 4. I generally enjoy something around a 60/40 role play to roll play the most. that said i do enjoy the tactical combat of pathfinder very much and will never complain if a fight breaks out lol 5. i usually prefer core material for settings, but have no vehement objection to 3pp if other players want to use it/dm is ok with it/it isn't just an obvious lame powergaming grab In summary, i would love very much to play this game, provided it is indeed a text only game as it is advertised. I do not like voice games.
Looks like it fell through
