All races and classes from Volo's and Xanathar's are allowed. This will be a long term episodic campaign. We will be using Discord for voice. The ongoing war with Orc's from the south leaves the town of Flora with only a handful of guards when the murders began. On the night of the 4th of Beedtide Mark Wallace the Captain of the Town Guard was found hacked to death in the basement of his home. Unfortunately for the people of the town the killer has returned each night and has so far killed each member of the Town Guard. By the 8th of Beetide there is a full-blown panic. The townsfolk talk of leaving but know if they do not only will the harvest fail the yearly sacrifice will not be carried out for the first time in more than a century. Knowing this the village council has voted to stay as of the 8th of Beetide but thus is can change. Earl Tallyard has called for a group of volunteer investigators to find the murderer. He has promised 5,000gp to the group who brings him the killer dead or alive.
