Looking to run a regular game with Matt Mercer’s Tal’dorei campaign setting - with one key difference. What would have happened to the world if Vox Machina had given their lives to defeat the evil plaguing their world? https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/97184/curious-adventures-in-taldorei Players begin in Whitestone (and can be either Whitestone natives or new to the city) and answer a bounty to investigate mysterious disappearances in the Parchwood... I’m looking to run a fairly lighthearted mix of adventure, politics, dungeon-crawling, puzzle-solving and roleplaying. Humour is good, silly is good, but so are passion, intrigue and danger, so I’d love a healthy mix of all of them. System: D&D 5e Player Count: 5 Style of Play: Mixture (RP, hack ‘n’ slash, puzzle solving, social/political) Allowed Content: All official WotC published books, Matt’s Tal’dorei campaign setting and homebrew/Unearthed Arcana on a case-by-case basis. Character Creation: (In Roll20) Backstory: Yes please - at least a few lines about where your character is from, what they value, and what will they do to get it? Experience: We’ll be starting at 1st level Wealth: Standard starting wealth/equipment as per class - you can either take the equipment from your class or use the rollable table to create your own Ability Scores: Rolled 4d6b3 Hitpoints/Health: Max until level 3, roll for HP or take average (whichever is higher) for level 4+ Alignment: Any non-evil Other Notes: Couple of homebrew rules - nat 20s/nat 1s are auto-success/failure for skill checks and saving throws, no enumbrance rules (although I might not allow you to carry that 1000lb gold statue in your pocket!) One final point to note - I’ll be using the Order of the Stick-style artwork for characters, maps and monsters (I find the maps and NPCs easier to draw that way!). I’ll be creating custom art for each of the players with discussion on how they look etc, so if that kind of artwork doesn’t appeal, then this might not be the game for you!
