I want to thank everyone who showed up to our first of many meetings. Here's some of the highlights: Player selections will happen by the end of this week giving the chosen players a week to stat their concept. This means anyone who has not finalized their concepts may do so by Thurs for consideration. However, those who made it to meeting will be top consideration due to actually showing up! Include in your concepts why your character would be on Teemo the Hutt's bad side. The first game will occur on Jan 26 4:30 EST and will be occur the same time every week for the foreseeable future. I anticipate sessions lasting 3-5 hours. On that note: Player participation is of the out most importance to me. If a player missing one game or is tardy without prior notice then they will receive a strike. The 2nd time it occurs the Player is no longer welcome to participate. I anticipate running at least 1 module after "Escape from Mos Shuuta" but can't guarantee anything after that. Please make sure you're able to see the maps. They will be used extensively. If this is an issue, please resolve this or withdraw from consideration. For those who didn't make it, you're not completely out of the running. Just post here and make sure your concept is finished by Thurs. If you're unable to make the game time of Sundays at 4:30 EST I ask you please withdraw yourself from the campaign or post here that you intend to be a lurker. Anyone who doesn't by game day will be booted.
Ill go ahead and drop out since game time conflicts with a campaign ive been in for 6 months here on Roll20. you all have fun, looks like an interesting game.

As an FYI, I have taken down the Player Listing and will not be inviting any more players to the campaign. I have however made the campaign public, which should allow observers to still access the going ons outside of joining sessions.
I'm dropping out as well. Not what i expected, and the dates kept moving around. I could have scheduled something with my work, but not with shifting dates all the time.
Alas, I must formally and respectfully bow out of this game, though I look forward to reading the chatlogs or lurking or whatever's available. Happy Gaming all!
Well I'm still in the running, even though this meet and greet snuck up on one of my drill weekends. Would it be acceptable that I'm unavailable one weekend per month?

Oh yeah, they have it planned out in advance for the fiscal year which is like seven in dog fiscals.
It seems that there are many players with many characters already drawn up. So, if there is an open spot, I would be more than happy to fill a missing role within the group. If there isn't a spot available, I will just 'lurk' about and keep up to speed, and if in the future a spot opens up, I would be more than happy to fill a role then. Either way, I look forward to seeing the campaign progress, and hope for cool and interesting results. Edge of the Empire seems like an interesting system.
Just posting here to say I'm still very interested in playing.

I've closed the Concepts thread. I'll be reviewing them based off interest shown the past week and hopefully have a decision for everyone by Sunday, Please keep an eye on your PMs as I may be contacting candidates.

First post of the Characters thread has been updated with Character Creation rule. Please let me know if I've forgotten anything. Also, since Beardsley was not one of the players chosen to participate, I was brought to my attention by Kane that he's had a work schedule shift where he is now limited to just playing for 2.5 hours with us. I was thinking we could keep the same time for our first session, but, if it works for the rest of you, move the game time to our originally planned time of 4pm EST for the sessions afterwards. This will at least give all of us my minimum of 3 hours together to game. However, I will expect to be starting at the listed game time, so everyone will need to show up early so we can start on time. Any objections?
Good news. 4 pm is even better than 4:30 pm for me (means 22pm my time).
