Pasting to Info and GM text boxes on Journal and Character screens stops working until restart

Hi, I have had two occasions in the last few days where I lost the ability to paste into the Info and GM boxes on the Journal and/or Character screens. Also on the same boxes on the Token screens. To fix it I have to restart the session. I am not sure what is causing it. Once it is glitched paste won't work but I can type into the boxes normally. I have tried without success to paste images from screen captures into these boxes. I don't know if doing that repeatedly causes it fail.
Hmm. Please follow ALL of the steps on this page and see if that corrects the problem. If it doesn't, that's when step 4 will come in handy since the console log will provide us with more information about what might be going wrong. I think I've had another user with a similar problem, and clearing their cache fixed the issue for them.

You can't paste screen captures into Roll20. You need to create image files (jpg, png or gif) for whatever you want to use and then upload them to your art library. Once they're uploaded into Roll20, then you can add them to your journal handouts or paste them into character portraits. What sort of sources are you trying to paste from? Are you just trying to paste raw text? Are you pasting a copy of text grabbed from a website?
I figured out that I could not paste images. It would be nice if I could but that belongs in the suggestion forum. As for the cases where the issue I am reporting occurred.. I was pasting text which I was able to successfully paste after restarting the client. I only brought up the images in case the failed pasting of those was a factor in what caused the text pasting to fail later. When I get home I will clear the browser cache and double check the plugins although I don't think I have anything unfriendly installed. edit - I think the specific scenario was after failing to paste monster cards from a PDF as images I found the same information in web table form that did work.

I'm just trying to rule out if it was the source of what you were copying that was getting Roll20 to hang up. Was it raw text from a text editor? A PDF?
In example http://tools.dungeonmastering.com/monstercards/sha... I don't know it was this one but it was something like this.
I tried doing the same thing I think you're doing and it worked fine for me. If it happens again, a console log (Step 4 here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Solving_Technical_Issues ) would be very useful.
Yeah.. it works fine until I get the glitch then it stops for everything. I don't think its that particular text that's causing the problem but who knows. It also fails with regular text strings once the pasting has failed (I tested out of notepad). I restart and everything is AOK. Should it happen again I will be sure to get you the logs. Nothing more fun then troubleshooting intermittent web glitches! btw- I did try pasting back into word and that seemed to work. So when the failure is occurring there IS material going into the clipboard. Thanks for looking into it, Chris
