Hello there. I'm a GM running a custom D&D 4e campaign set in a combination forgotten realms/dark suns universe, with high fantasy/lovecraftian horror elements. We currently have three players who have varying levels of RP experience and are all fairly new to D&D 4e. The player characters are currently at level 4 but will quickly be levelling up to Paragon for the overall length of the campaign. We are currently playing at 4pm PST but will be changing the start time to 5/6pm PST in january. This story is incredibly custom focusing on aspects created specifically for each character to reflect there backstory's and also goals and interpersonal relationships created during the overall story. This game is friendly to people of all gender, races and sexual orientation and any sort of intolerance will result in an immediate boot from the game. No exceptions. The current story: The world has fallen apart after an event 124 years ago, now known as the 2nd spell plague, caused the astral sea to be ripped asunder. The world has been left a desert wasteland with creatures of the far realms at every corner and a strange purple mists that floats across the landscape promising insanity to all that entire. The few gods that remain walk the mortal realms, though most that do have completely lost there minds. The mortal races have found a way to survive however, creating magically protected domed cities where they all reside. The hero's of our campaign have been tasked by the goddess Sehanine to travel to 6 of the worlds cities to gain the assistance of 6 other gods in order to re-enchanting a magical box that was accidentally opened by one of the party members unleashing an unspeakable horror onto the world. I am looking for 1-2 committed players to fill out the group roster. This campaign is meant to be played as a role-play experience with less of a focus on combat and more of a focus on RP and the interpersonal relationships between the characters. While it would be amazing to find someone who has a ton of RP experience and is fully familiar with 4e that is not necessary. What i'm looking for is someone who has experience or knows how to successfully RP with a group of people and who is eager and willing to learn the rules along with the rest of the players in the current group.
