[LFP] (5e) Short notice: Looking to surprise my players with a new character, Tonight 8:30 est (December 22, 2017)

You would be a level 8 pygmy Tabaxi, of any class, trying to rescue your father the chief of the tribe from a dungeon full of roach people, you would be introduced 30-45 minutes into the session. Possibility of changing things up for your character later if you continue on. -Possibility of staying on in the campaign if you enjoy it/ gel well -Roleplay heavy campaign -No UA unless we talk about it. Hey! I'd be interested in jumping in! I haven't /played/ dnd before, though. I've GMed Pathfinder for almost a year at this point, and almost switched to 5e, so I have a lot of familiarity with the rules, though it's not perfect. I also haven't ever been at lvl 8 (we restarted a lot with new people) so I don't really know all the mechanics for that. If you'd be willing to sit me down on teamspeak or something and walk me through creation (what classes you think would mesh okay with your party, if by pygmy you mean I'd be a 'tiny' sized character), then I think it'd be fine. I'm in Hawaii (so 5 hours off y'all) but I can easily be around then. A little more background more specific to this session would be nice if it comes to it. I know it's a lot of conditions (especially with something so short notice), but I'm looking to get a little experience actually playing, and seeing more of how roll20 works than just tutorials and "watch me play"s to see if it would work for my group.&nbsp;

Hey I don' mean to step on Preludes toes here but I'd also be interested if your still looking, I know that' it' even closer to game time now but I'm pretty experienced with the ruleset and would be interested in doing either just a one time adventure or possibly staying on longer whatever' good with you and the players.
