Looking for a bit of fun in a one shot :)

Hi everyone , i know its really dificult at this short notice , but hey maibe i am lucky , i dont have any plans for tonight and would enjoy a one shot if there is any dm interested in running one , i have expirience in 3.5 allthough just the basics , a bit less in pathfinder , and a bit more in 4e , i would be open to play other tipe of game , but more confortable in the things i know thats all :) , so if you are in the same situation and would like maibe even to test a adventure you have in mind , tell me about it ;)
I'm new to the tabletop RPG thing and would love to tag along and learn to play if you happen to find one for tonight.
Sure thing , we are all here to learn , and a one shot can give you atleast a bit of basic understanding for a future campaing :)
Hey, I have myself and two friends that would like to join a match if you find anyone. we are also new players but want to play.
well that would pretty much make us 5 , so we would just need a dm ;)
Would be most fun ;)
I was trying to set something up in OD&D as a DM. So far I haven't found much interest in it, but then again it was pretty short notice. If you're not married to a version, we could match up the two ideas.
I'm interested in anything personally. I've never played and if your interested in teaching I'm interested in learning.
I'd be interested in joining, no matter which version we're playing.
OD&D is pretty stripped down, especially compared to 4e. There are only the 4 archetypical classes: Fighter, Cleric, Thief, and Magic-User. Thieves and Clerics have be human on top of that. There are also only the four tolkien races: Human, Elf, Dwarf, and Halfling. Anything not human is its own class. So you don't have "a dwarven magic-user", you just have "a dwarf" and that's what class it is. A lot of players can't get past the comparative lack of options. But if that's not a problem, then my next post will have the join link. Let me know.
Sounds good I think I would like a fighter
