The Story: You travel on board the Jenivere, a cargo ship which runs along the western coasts of the Inner Sea a couple times per year. Your destination is Eleder, the capital of the young colonial nation of Sargava. Word has spread that the government is teaming with the Pathfinder Society to fund the charting of a road through the vast jungles of the Mwangi Expanse, and is sure to be an explorer's dream for a grand reward! Whether or not this is the reason you travel here is up to you. Perhaps you are a refugee from Cheliax, looking to find safety in a nation which has gained independence from the empire. Maybe the tales of the vast wealth being mined from the Bandu Hills has brought you here in hopes of getting rich. Either way, there is certainly a wealth of experience and reward to be had for any aspiring explorer in the region! When/How: This game will occur weekly on Wednesday evenings EST, with the time being flexible. For my games I like to use Discord for between games so that everyone is always updated on any changes, and my own Teamspeak server for during games due to the added ability of using tabletopaudio.com and other music/ambiance sources to enhance the immersion. Disclaimer: This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $10 per player, via paypal, each session. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. What to expect: This campaign is mostly written by myself using the official Inner Sea lore, as well as parts of adventure paths/modules in some places where they fit. This is meant to be a long term game at medium progression, with plenty of freedom for story direction. Usually once the adventure path is finished, we have a look at the character's goals and what the players have interest in doing next, and I write new content accordingly. So there is no set ending until the players want one, there is always room for new adventures and exploration! I'd say the campaign is 60/40 roleplay vs. combat. Session Zero is always free and usually consists of introductions/character creation (2ish hours) and the beginning of the campaign (2-4 hours depending on party schedule). As for GM style, I like to take the roleplay somewhat seriously and prefer thoughtful backstories, goals, and development from the characters, yet my games are still very laid back and treated as friends just hanging out for the evening. I usually run a session between 4-6 hours depending on how long the party wants to play, but never really set a time limit.
