Hi everyone.
First, I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to GM Matt for creating such
an exceptional TE Character Sheet. The addition of dice rolling to the sheet is
such a helpful thing! Also, because I was able to see the macros the sheet used,
I was able to “back engineer” a number of tools for my personal games. I’ve
listed them below for the rest of you to use if you like. Between GM Matt’s
sheet and these macros I suspect my next game of TE will run much faster.
The #===== indicates a unique macro, the next line is the
name of the macro, and then the body of the macro begins with /roll or /gmroll.
Copy the body into the action portion of the macro box and you’ve got the tool.
The spacing of text in several of the macros such as 5===== and 6===== can be altered by adding a blank line to make the results are easier to read in the chat log. Some of you may prefer to
remove these tables all together since they just add quick charts for me to personally reference
without looking things up.
All of these are intended to be helpful for the GM side of
things except for 7===== (Heroes Up). This one is intended to be shared to the
players for when the drama deck gives a HEROES UP result. Also the table in
that macro is not missing any lines. If the hero is up there is no way to get a
roll lower than 3. (My logic here is that 1 on original roll = failure so the
up would be lost in my games.) If you allow for an UP after a roll of 1 then
you’ll want to add a line for the result of 2 on the table. You can copy it
from the 2 line in 5=====.
There will still be a few occasions where you’ll have to
shift the numbers a bit due to card play and such. But adding +3 isn’t too bad
after the grunt work has already been done by the macros.
