Hello, Maybe you already had this post, but I can't find it anywhere. I'm just wondering why I can't get more premade background in the compendium window. Only have Acolyte background. And same thing about some spells from the PHB like Witch Bolt. Do I have to buy a module to get the rest of the stuff in the PHB? And in the same direction, can you make an update with stuff from Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide and Xanathar's Guide of Everything?. Thanks ;)

The base compendium can only contain information from the OGL for 5e. Roll20 is working on other publishing details.

Ok thx. So, just to be like a true newb on Roll20... lol, OGL means what? Open Game Licence? And other question: Can we, the community, works to put the other feats and backgrounds into the compendium? Or creates Macros with the missing documents I talked about?

The 5th Edition SRD Compendium can only contain information (such as race and class options, feats, spells, treasure, monsters, etc.) that is located within WoTC's Systems Reference Document . If WoTC releases more SRD content under an Open Gaming License, you can count on that being added to the Compendium.

The compendium cant contain stuff that isnt in the OGL (open game licence) version of D&D, so no, we cant add stuff to the compendium. You can create your own handouts, characters, etc., of the stuff not in the compendium, but you can't share them.
Ok, Now I understand how all of this works.  Sorry for being slow to catch lol And thx for your answers
