Doors - Is there an easy way to make them more functional with dynamic lighting?

My doors are a pain to work with. Any tips or tricks to make them easier?
there was an API for automatic doors opening and closing as a button. Maybe have a look into that? If not do you change the colours of the doors?
Yeah, but the interface is clunky. My monitor isn't that big, and I have a tough time selecting the dynamic lighting I put over doors.
Honestly. I don't think Roll20 has much in the way of helping you here. I'v seen some other virtual table tops which can support a better interface by they usually charge an absurd rate for them (Looking at you battlegrounds!) or you limited to a system. Your best bet imo is to make a line on the dynamic lighting layer as a very large straight. This way it should be more easily clickable and movable. The only other thing I can think of is just using the fog layer every time.

Actually, I'd recommend not making a line but a square, MUCH easier to grab. When PCs open the door, just move it aside. If they close the door, just put it back on which ever side you feel is right. Another thing, I noticed that selecting anything on the dynamic lighting layer while zoomed out to anything but regular 100% is a total nightmare! If you're having issues, make sure you're on normal 100% zoom distance.

How are you currently handling doors? I just draw boxes that have a fill. Makes them fairly easy for me to grab and move aside or delete.
I use Dynamic Lighting but I also just use FoW to hide what's beyond a door. I initially tried to use DL in conjunction with doors but it was a bit too cumbersome and really didn't achieve any more than FoW does for that same purpose. For some situations, I do still use DL lines to screen windows that have curtains or shutters closed. I just slide the line back and forth, depending on if the window can be viewed through or not.

G. , are you still having the 100% zoom problem? There was a bug but that has since been fixed. For those of you having a hard time with Dynamic Lighting "doors" I suggest that you use single segment lines for your dynamic lighting whenever possible. If you use multi-segment lines it may make it difficult to select a line because another object (a multi-segment line) is in the way. If you are already doing so and having difficulty please send me a join link and I will come take a look at your setup and offer suggestions.
the below method works well for me. Big pink lines to outline rooms. Big orange blocks to block vision on the doors. I simply delete the orange boxes or move them and adjust the underlying token. Would be nice to have something simpler that links the token to dynamic lighting layer but this works pretty well.
