[5e OGL] roll color in CORE > ATTACKS & SPELLCASTING > DESCRIPTION

In the Character Sheet Template 5th Edition ( OGL by Roll20 ) tab Character Sheet sub-tab CORE section ATTACKS & SPELLCASTING in the item details (after clicking the corresponding cog (on its right)) section DESCRIPTION, if I put an inline dice roll, it will not put colors in it like it would show (after clicking the cog again so it collapse then clicking its name to trigger it) in the sidebar tab Chat (green if only max rolls (can also include regular rolls), red if only min, blue if both max & min); I'd very much like it to show colors as there is to be a conditional attack, thus want to show critical fail & critical hit. Thank you kindly
Roll template formatting is handled using the CSS for the individual character sheet. These CSS files also determine what happens to inline rolls within these template, along with whether the colors appear. Without using a custom character sheet, I do not think you will be able to get the inline color formatting to change.
When an item in ATTACKS & SPELLCASTING is triggered, is there--any--way a colored inline roll can be displayed automatically without using a custom character sheet? The colored inline roll doesn't have to be included in the ATTACKS & SPELLCASTING item description (between the attack/DC and the damage). I know I could include an Ability Command Button so that one is displayed with a single click but I'd like an automatic one (requiring no additional intervention of the user).
Without access to the API, the Ability Command Button/API Command Button would be the closest you can get unfortunately.
