Experienced player / gm looking for Saturday GMT +0 Pathfinder group. Beginners welcome

I've played DnD then pathfinder for about 15 years now.  I've moved recently, and alas lost my regular group as a result.  I'm looking for a pathfinder group, GMT time on a Saturday.  I'd prefer to start at 10:00 and play most of the day, but I'll happily start at another time if more convenient for others as it's not a work night.  I would like to play, as I've been the GM for every game for about 6 years, but if there are no gms in the final group I'm happy to be one.  I'd like this to be a regular, weekly game. If I am GM, I will be using a pre-written adventure path, as my job doesn't permit me a lot of time to write.  This doesn't mean you can't use an innovative solution, but if you wanted to go found an Absolom trading company instead of following the plot I'm afraid I won't be able to accommodate you as I wouldn't have the free time to prepare anything.  However, I have every adventure path, and will take requests to run any - with the exception of Wrath of the Righteous and Giantslayer.  As I want to play in those I'm purposefully not reading them. Again, if I'm GM, beginners will be welcome and I have a lot of experience teaching the game.  However, I would limit beginners to no more than 50% of the group, just because I've found it to get unwieldy over that.  Around 4 - 6 players would be ideal.  Please let me know if you're interested.

Hi Alistair - I'm potentially interested in playing but I couldn't commit to daytime hours due to family commitments - Saturday evening could potentially work. If you want to play Giantslayer, see my post in this forum - we have a DM plus 2 players so far (me + 1 other) for a GMT weekly/bi weekly session if you wanted to join. :-)  Darren

I'd certainly be interested Darren, but I note in your post you're looking at Tuesday or Wednesday?  I'm afraid with work I can only do Saturdays, as it's not a school night.  :)  Completely understand about wanting to do evenings and I can make that work.

I would be interested in a Saturday evening game as well. I am flexible on AP chosen (although I have pretty thoroughly chewed up Rise of the Runelords), and on character concept; I'd like to build out as a party, hopefully knowing which AP we'd be using. Hit me up if you'd like credentials or to communicate further.

Well, if we both responded to Darren's other post, and the others are also willing to shift to a Saturday that would give a party of 4?

I would be very interested in playing and saturdays would work well for my current schedules. Been playing DnD 3rd and Pathfinder for about 10 years now so I'm pretty well aquinted with the rules (all though I've managed to dodge all of Paizo's adventure paths with the exception of Crimson Throne). My regular gaming group's been shifting away from Pathfinder to other systems so I thought I'd give these LFG forums a shot. Now, let it be known that english isn't my first language so I hope you won't mind playing with someone with a bit of an accent. I have a British flatmate and I play a lot of games online so I pretty much talk as much English as my own mother tongue (Finnish) anyways.

That's 3.  With another 1 we'd have a core group if Darren's other group can't shift to a Saturday.  Unless you are all comfortable with a group of 3?

Anything that the GM is comfortable with is fine by me. When playing online I actually prefer smaller groups (3-4 players + GM) since that eliminates some of the problems with people talking over each other and it gives everyone a bit more time in the spotlight if that's what they desire. But yeah, I'm pretty much ok with anything that makes the GM happy :P

Yep me too. Other game is likely to be a tue/wed due to DM commitments.

Darren, as the other game appears to be going mid week, were you still interested in a Saturday game as well?

Huh, new post notifications with no new posts.  Weird.  I'm going to PM each of you with a link to the game. Update for anyone else; Looks like I'm gm, so I will still accept up to 3 other players, but on the assumption that I have one already (apologies if I'm doing you a disservice Darren), only 2 of those 3 slots will be for beginners. First come, first served. Reasonable regularity expected Published AP, but selection will be made by party (admittedly soon) High power level game Saturday evening time slot, non negoitable

We're all in the UK, but 1400 EST would be 1900 GMT so that could be ok.  I'll see what the others think
