[LF2P] [D&D 5E] [EST] Homebrew Campaign "Evil has won." theme.

Its going to be weekly as of a group decision, Saturdays at 10:00 PM EST. I will try my best to hard stop by 12:30-1:00 AM. We had a cleric and that player left due to it being a bit too mature for her. I will warn that this story has adult themes. Gore is possible. We have a party consisting of a Dark Elf Paladin, a Changeling Rogue, and a Human Warlock. Average alignment is neutral, but I accept any alignment. All classes/races from main source books are allowed, and some things from Unearthed Arcana. New characters will need to be made by the Wednesday prior to the session on Saturday so we don't waste time. If you cannot finish it in time, just wait until the next week to join. All characters will start at the parties current level, which is 2. We use Discord for voice chat. If interested post a response with: Character Name: Race: While I don't care if there are more than one race, I enjoy variety. Class: Picking classes we already have is not the best idea. Background: BIO: At least a paragraph, more is always better and taken into consideration.

I'm also interested in hearing more, but here's my character for now. My discord ID is duke stop#3971 (sorry, ignore the username, I'm in another chat where names change often).  Character Name: Kairon Race : Tiefling Class: Bard Background:  BIO: (might need to be edited for the campaign) As is common for tieflings, Kairon was born into poverty. His mother died few years after he was born- he never found out how, as he lacked the bravery to ask and risk upsetting his father (who was hardly ever home from work for long enough to start a conversation with anyway). For the most part, he was raised by his elder sister, Kairi. Though Kairi was angry at the world for making the family suffer such hardships, Kairon saw little point in making things more difficult for himself. To him, a bit of acting and charisma was the difference between being beaten in an alleyway and coming home safely. His horns and tail earned him few friends, but he found himself talented at singing and playing his mother's old fiddle. The coin trickled in slowly, but his talent and silver tongue were enough to attract the attention of a bard. The bard's intentions, of course, were not wholly altruistic; while he helped Kairon refine his skills and learn to harness magic, he also took a large portion of the coin that he earned. After some years they parted ways on cordial terms. In this time he and his sister had grown distant; feeling no other ties to the city that he was born in, he left. Things went well at first. He traveled, performed at taverns for a bite to eat and a place to stay at night, added to his growing collection of stories, and moved on. Unfortunately, one night his violin was stolen from him. He vowed to one day get it back, but it was a half-hearted vow- how would one ever find a singular thief that had long since run off? The loss did, however, make a good excuse for a switch in career choices. Without his violin he had more difficulty finding work as a performer, but his voice is enough for adventuring. Kairon is inclined to go with the flow and profit on the side in any way that he can. He doesn't mind combat, but why fight when a few words could get you whatever you wanted with less effort?

good morning, I would like to see about joining in on this game aswell. my discord is Blackheart #8167. Character Name: Ijoatu Rootsmasher Katho-Olavi, or Rootsmasher for short Race:Goliath (found in Volo's Guide to Monsters pg.108) Class: Barbarian Background: Outlander, Outcast Bio: (100% inspired to make and play a verison of my own of Grog from Critical Role) Rootsmasher, being a goliath, is grey-skinned with tattoos all over his upper body and his bald head, weighing 750 pounds and stands at 8 feet, 9 inches tall. "Right, listen up. If you have ale, then you have a friend in Ijoatu Rootsmasher Katho-Olavi. A goliath of towering height and size, this barbarian has an appetite for the two great loves in his life: combat, women, and ale. Wait... Easily the brains of the group, Rootsmasher is often consulted for his vast knowledge of shapes, colors, and shiny things. Also ale. In his early years, armed with his two-handed great axe, Rootsmasher often enjoyed proving his might amongst the ranks of his family's wandering herd. But after coming upon an unsuspecting elderly gnome in the woods, he objected to the killing of such an innocent life. A creature of impulse, Rootsmasher felt only pity for this terrified little thing. His disobedience cost him dearly. Beaten bloody and banished by the herd leader, his uncle Prometheus, Rootsmasher was abandoned and left to die. Exiled from his herd, it was the will of this stout thick headed brutes sheer will that barely kept him alive. Thru the tricks and knowledge he retained from the herd he was able to survie in wilds alone and bring himself slowly back to health. Most nights, Rootsmasher can be found challenging entire taverns to wrestling matches! Or accompanying (bard friend) to the nearest house where you pay for, er, lady favors. Also ale."
Sorry, I didn't get a friend request from you- maybe the space messed things up or something? I'll try adding you.
