Hello, world! I'm a 40 year old professional computer geek who played 1st and 2nd edition AD&D obsessively all through my teens and did some 3/3.5 for a few years up until children came. I'm recently divorced and after moving to a new town for work I'm living alone again and looking to get back into it with 5e. I picked up the 5e PHB and DM guide to read but haven't played any games yet. I've been working over the idea of playing a chaotic evil worshiper of a god of Chaos, who pretends to be neutral good while secretly spreading strife and disorder whenever he can get away with it. Probably a wood elf, starting as a rogue at level 1 then picking up cleric levels after that.  I'm not tied down to it though, I'm adaptable and have played everything at some point and willing to bring anything the party needs. In the past I've done a lot of DM'ing but I'd really like to get some sessions of 5e under my belt as a player before I start my own campaign. I have a flexible schedule and work from home so any day/time is a possibility for me. So if anyone has a campaign going that could use someone with D&D experience but new to 5e, or even a one shot, let me know. I'm reachable here or at Y! as jspring2
