i am a fairly experienced player and have recently come into a more reliable schedule of free time. due to a move and job change i haven't had much time recently to get into a group (besides little one offs with friends) and now that everything has settled down i am looking for a long term and preferably weekly group to run with! i'm easy to get along with and am very flexible in my play style (though preferably i like a good balance of rp and combat). one of my favorite things in D&D is not only creating a character with flaws, aspirations, and backstory but also watching the group as a whole as we all tackle our own pasts and problems together. anything from maybe a spell caster who has got a debt to pay to an infernal demon or a bard who once every hundred years must make a sacrifice at a cursed altar to keep his youth and good looks. its great watching a character with flaws either surpass them or fall victim to them. i'm pretty good at playing all classes however healers are not really my strong suit. i prefer more of a smooth talker that has some tricks up his sleeve but I've played everything from a walking meatwall of a tank that wouldn't know a gate scroll from toilet paper, to a mischievous necromancer on a quest for immortality, to a paladin with a chip on her shoulder that wants nothing more than to prove herself to her god. i would prefer Tuesdays or Wednesdays, on those nights i can go for however long we want. on other nights i'm more limited to the hours of 6pm-10pm. ive spent about a year and a half playing 5th ed, 7 years playing pathfinder, about 6 months playing call of Cthulhu, and am eager to learn any other game. i am completely ok with homebrew or going by the book i am eager to hear from you and if you have any questions feel free to ask!
