Hey guys, while it's not official yet, two of my players seem like they're not really getting into the game and I expect them to quit altogether. What I'm ideally looking for as replacements are those with experience roleplaying, have very little trouble getting into character, and wanna have a good time. Here's a little info. We're in Pathfinder running the Kingmaker adventure path right now with a focus on storyline and roleplaying rather than fighting. If your favorite thing about rping is just experiencing the world, I'd highly suggest talking to me, because that's what I'm trying to do the most. We're still on the first part of seven (I think that's how many adventures are in it). For that reason, anyone interested should really have no knowledge of Kingmaker, or at least minimal (if that's the case we can discuss it). Don't want to spoil the surprises after all. I'm also throwing in a good bit of my own stuff in there. As far as experience goes, I and the two remaining players have the same amount of experience, our first tabletop gaming we did was together. For age, though I doubt it makes much difference, I'm 19, they're 21 and 20. Ideally we'd find someone close to the same age just so it's easiest to get used to eachother but that's not necessarily a requirement, there's quite a bit of leeway there. Altogether we have about 3-4 years of experience but with a lot of off and on, so it's not as much as it sounds. This is also our first time rolling an rpg with a focus on a specific aspect, being just experiencing the world, interacting with people, and the storyline. I would not recommend our group to those who like being a "power player" trying to find the loopholes and such to make the strongest character possible, but rather those for more of a interest in the storytelling aspect. This is my first time GMing for pathfinder, but I know the rules pretty well from past campaigns as a player, and if I do something wrong, feel free to question it! I have however gmed other games, and I like to think I have a pretty good imagination :). My players don't have the easiest time really getting into character. They try and do a pretty good job with it, but every rp we've done, there have been players (not the current two players) who don't care much about the roleplaying. When that would happen, the two players I have that like the roleplaying have a hard time keeping it going when only half the party cares about it, so that's why I'm looking for someone experienced with roleplaying and getting into character, but that's not to say you HAVE to be experienced. Anyone can talk to me about it and we'll see if we think we're a good match for what you're looking for. Hope to hear from you guys soon, have a great day.
