All my handouts and character sheets open in a new window

Whenever I click on a character sheet or handout, it pops out as a separate window instead of opening as part of the roll20 desktop. This has been the case for 2 weeks now. Is there some setting that I'm missing? This is a big issue since I can't display handouts to my players anymore, having to force them to find it in a folder.
This issue persists regardless of browser used, cleared cache or an entirely fresh windows install. HOWEVER, this is only the case for a single one of the games I DM or play in.
I am obviously an idiot - the setting in options "Use window popouts for characters" was enabled for some reason. Interestingly, this also affected non-character handouts. Issue resolved by reading -,-
