[LFP] [18+] Forming new group. New and Beginner Players Welcome. Wed 8:45pm EST.

This campaign is free, like it should be, and it always will be free. This is not some teaser campaign where I will want you to pay later on. I am trying to start a new gaming group for the fun of it. This is a new Pathfinder campaign geared more towards new and beginner players, but any experience level is welcome if you're a good fit for the group. You do not need to have any experience playing Pathfinder, D&D, or roleplaying games to be welcome in this group. Because this campaign is designed with the beginner in mind, there will be a good mix of everything: roleplaying, combat, exploring dungeons, intrigue, puzzles, and maybe some throne games. But by nature I lean more towards role-playing than anything else. This is not a hack 'n slash dungeon crawler campaign. Pathfinder is very similar to D&D 3.5. I won't get into a history lesson or go in to all of the differences, but don't let the names or numbers throw you off. If you want to play a roleplaying game or D&D, Pathfinder should work for you. I like Pathfinder, especially for newer players, because all of the rules are online for free. You don't need to buy a bunch of books to give this a try. I have over ten years of role-playing game experience, with an even mix of being a player and dungeon master. I have played many editions of D&D (going as far back as 2nd) as well as many other rpg/storytelling games like Werewolf, Vampire, Breaking Mana, and Nobilis. As a DM I like to create a great a base for the story, but it's the players and their characters that really determine how that story plays out. Games will be Wednesday nights, weekly, starting at 8:45pm(ish) est and lasting around 2.5 to 3 hours. We will be trying to use the roll20 voice and maybe video. This doesn't always work out, so we will use Discord as a backup. In this campaign players will be playing heroic characters, so if you're looking to play something evil you might want to search elsewhere. This is a LGBT friendly group. It's not a LGBT group and the campaign is not focused on LGBT material, but anyone is welcome to play here. Orientation will not play any part in determining who is accepted for this group. The takeaway here is if you have hate in your heart you might want to search for a group elsewhere. I like to keep things loose and keep the story moving. I despise rules lawyers. If you are a super experienced player and need to follow every last rule from every supplemental book, you might struggle here. I'm not a huge fan of power gamers and min/maxers. I want people to play the characters they want, but I prefer real characters. So, the ideal player should be friendly, willing to roleplay, easy-going, have a good sense of humor, and play nicely with others. Again, you do not need any experience to be a part of this group. To apply, head on over to the listing: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/70002/lets-fight-a-dragon-in-a-dungeon
There is still a spot or two left for this group. Looking to roll characters this week (session 0 if time) and session 1 starts next Wednesday.
