New to Roll D20, but not to roleplaying.

Hello! I'd like to give this Roll D20 thing a try. Please bear with me as I'm certainly not the most computer savvy person around. I do know my way around a character sheet though. I started playing Dungeons and Dragons back in 1975 and have done so ever since. So, I'm looking for a game that will take me in. Anyone looking for an old-timer like me?

Is there a particular edition you are looking for?  Also knowing your time zone and days when you are available will be very helpful.

Ah, thank you, I should have thought of that. I'm in Canada, central time. I'm usually free in the evenings from wed to friday and most sundays are good. As for edition, I cut my teeth on Old D&D and 1st edition. I played 3.5 for a while but wasn't enthralled with it. I'd like to try 5th edition, but have no experience with it.

Helps for people like me that focus on a single edition (I pretty much only play 4eD&D).  There are tons of 5e games going on though, so you should be able to find a group pretty quickly.  Check the 'join game' tool as well.  The only disadvantage to using the tool rather than the forums is that it is likely you will have to respond to a ton of places before you find a good fit.  Good luck and welcome to the site!
