Images in the descriptions on character sheets.

One of my players put not just images but entire gifs on each of his spells. I don't know how, but I know I want it! Not even really gifs just images in item descriptions and stuff would be cool to have. I see other forums saying just to copy paste or upload to imgur then copy paste, but that's not working. Does anyone know what I'm missing?

What system/sheet are you using?  Within the text description try using the syntax [image text](URL), where the URL must end in an image format (jpg, png, gif?)
I'm using the 5th edition shaped character sheet if that helps, by syntax you mean type that?

The syntax is just an example of the proper format to issue the command [text](URL) The "text" can be any text.&nbsp; It will not be seen.&nbsp; URL is the address/location of the file image you want to display.&nbsp; The address needs to end in one of the image formats accepted. (jpg, png, gif). example (try copying the command below and pasting it in chat) [Elijah Daniel](<a href="https://s3.amazonaws.com/files.d20.io/images/38263708/22L8yx_ojdoeWqPVPmDoGw/thumb.jpg" rel="nofollow">https://s3.amazonaws.com/files.d20.io/images/38263708/22L8yx_ojdoeWqPVPmDoGw/thumb.jpg</a>)
Thank you, that works, though it seems to only work when the rest of the text feild is left blank. Do you know if there;s anythign I can do to have both text and an image?

I'm not familiar with the ins/outs of the shaped sheet.&nbsp; You might post in the&nbsp; shaped thread and see how other's would handle it.&nbsp; Here's my quick test which seems to work. I just inserted "[x]( <a href="http://www.engine001.com/community/resources/fire_bolt-lHwhw1.gif" rel="nofollow">http://www.engine001.com/community/resources/fire_bolt-lHwhw1.gif</a>) " into the text of the spell.&nbsp; Granted, the image I used was probably not the best because there was so much whit-space.&nbsp; But it's just a proof of concept.
You're right I needed a full empty line before text.
