Would it be possible to get a token option that would allow a Token to be clicked and have just a Text Block or Image pop up without having to use the scroll bars, when all you need is a simple single click. In otherwards, if you had a Number or Letter Token on your say dungeon map, players enter a room and you click on the room number token and boom you get a description of the room or perhaps a more detailed image of it. Taking it even further it could simple trigger a .wav or some other audio file and have some dialog play. My point is being able to simply click a token or maybe something called a Map Marker it eliminates extra scrolling or window resizing, when all you want is a block of text to read or picture to show. I know you can done this using handouts but then you need to to find that handout, wait for it to display, then close it. Any thoughts or is this already available I am too dumb to find it.....
Double-clicking on a token brings up the Edit Token display, which has a space for GM Info (you could put your notes here.) Shift-Double-clicking on a token brings up the assigned Journal Entry, if there is one, with room for similar information. Either one of those will give you a possible solution, if not a perfect solution. And no, there's no way to trigger a sound or other audio file in this or any other manner outside of possibly the API (About which I know next to nothing.)

Check out my post and bump it Ajax. I had the same thing in mind when I wrote this, but better than clicking on the token, just mouse over it and the text box pops. +1

Just want to be able to Click a Marker and Get a Text Box or Image Window, double clicking just brings up another window to have to navigate through so that is really not a solution, this just seemed like a fairly simple addition, but then again I am not a programmer.... Luke, your idea has merit too, however I would find it annoying mousing over several markers and each one instantly popping up..... But being able to click on a Table and have a complete description of it would be nice, if there was just away to mark a Token as Simple or Normal, a simple Token would just have the Text Window as soon as you clicked it once. It could also be set to have the players see the Text Box as an option... I haven't tried the Shift Click Journal option yet, although that could be a large number of Journal entries for something as simple as... "This crude table is made greasy stained wood, a skull with a candle stuck in it offers a dim flickering light. A rusty tankard half filled with stale wine sets next to the skull..." That's not very much text to apply to a Journal entry..
Well, toolstips or the ability to access a handout/sheet by clicking on a token, either would be pretty useful. Would give my own game, with survivalist/exploration elements, a bit of a new feel I suspect.
I realize it's waaaaay beyond the scope of the topic; but that's what comes to mind is TOEE's radial options. Taken it to the n'th level... a major overhaul, but would be totally awesome. (example taken from Temple of Elemental Evil PC game) You could leverage that in a ridiculous number of ways. Token actions, Character Sheet links, journal page links, etc.
I would love to have a graphical interface like that for token actions. Able to be sorted into categories with custom symbols and then pop out the actual actions from that category.
