anything better than using GM layer for invisible Pawns?

It's kind of annoying to keep on switching between layers in order to move the Invisible ones and visible ones so is there a way to make an invisible pawn in the token layer or move both the token and GM layer at the same time?

I think you're looking for the "bump" script from The Aaron <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2956622/script-b" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2956622/script-b</a>... Only other way to do it is make your pawns out of fully transparent .png files and give them an aura which only the GM has permissions to see.
Thanks plexsoup

Building on Plex’s second solution, you can make them from Rollable Table Tokens with one transparent image, then you can make them&nbsp;”invisible” whenever you need too&nbsp;

Just a slight note about the bump script. Since it is an API script, you have to be a pro subscriber to use it.
I give them a clear PNG token with an aura, switched off for players view. The owner of the token and the GM are the only ones that see the aura.

One workaround is to make a strip of Fog of War (basic) across one side of the map. Any token you want to be invisible can be moved there. The njust use a placeholder with the transparent png/invisible aura to move around the map. You can even make the placeholder token a standard token you can draw from you library at a moment's notice. This allows you to have access to the real token and its attendant character sheet and token macros without mucking about with rollable tables and faces, or moving things between layers. You can make any token invisible or ethereal at a moment's notice. Just drag them into the FoW area, which to the players just appears as a black band on one side of the map. Then drag out your placeholder token and continue playing. Hmm. I think I'll cross post this to my Stupid Tricks thread.
That's the best one I've heard yet Keith

I also use that method for a place to stash thumbnails of full screen pictures to pop up as GM using Shift-Z to show the players a picture. The stupid tricks thread is great. The only problem is it doesn't show up on the homepage of the forum when someone posts now, because it is considered an older thread. People can use the "Follow thread" button to stay aprised.

Thanks, that is a common problem with all threads past a certain date. I remember when they instituted that change, but went through a long period of rarely posting, and had to be reminded why none of the threads I was interested were on the front page. And yes, I also use that stripe for thumbnail pics. Mostly, I use two methods for most pics now, though. One for Scenes, and one for&nbsp; NPC portraits . Only the scenes method requires the API, but I don't seem to have a post for it. I'll try to rectify that tonight .
Elaborating on Keith's method, what i do is make the map area two squares larger at the bottom so i can keep tokens there off the map and drag in what i need from there. They are visible to the players there so you can just use the fog of war trick so the players can't see them.

@keithcurtis Post the "Scenes method" (uses API) too please. I mainly just use Shift-Z for it, if not a Handout, and I have Color-Emote API which can put a pic into the chat-room. @Brian A., 2 squares of margin on the bottom row, haha! I usually pad about 10 squares of margin on all 4 sides. My map pages are large overall and I like to have the margins in nearby-reach.

This didn't go in my Stupid Tricks thread, because it's pretty much the intended usage of the parts, and needed breathing space of its own. And now I'll stop hijacking DragonBolt's thread. :o

I use the Fog of War to hide the tokens that are in the Tracker so I don’t delete them by mistake. I use the transparent token with Aura for monsters that are the size of the map, like living dungeons in 13th Age.
