[LFP] [Blades in the Dark] Weekends 7 AM MST (UTC -7) New Players Welcome!

Good day all, I have a hankering to play some Blades in the Dark, but I just welcomed a daughter to the world, so my play time has become very limited.  As such, I am looking at organizing a weekly game, on either Saturday or Sunday pending the availability of the players, at 7 AM MST (UTC -7).  Given the niche time slot, the idea will be to have enough players in the game to field a group of at least 3 (but no more than 5) players every week, with people dropping in and out as necessary.  But have no fear!  Blades is the perfect game for this drop in/drop out mentality, and Doskvol will still be there when you return from your IRL adventures (or hangovers, as the case may be). If you don't know anything about Blades, I think the blurb on the back of the book does as good a job as any of describing the theme and tone of the game: Blades in the Dark is a tabletop role-playing game about a crew of daring scoundrels seeking their fortunes on the haunted streets of an industrial-fantasy city. There are heists, chases, occult mysteries, dangerous bargains, bloody skirmishes, and, above all, riches to be had — if you’re bold enough to seize them. You and your fledgling crew must thrive amidst the threats of rival gangs, powerful noble families, vengeful ghosts, the Bluecoats of the city watch, and the siren song of your scoundrel’s own vices. Will you rise to power in the criminal underworld? What are you willing to do to get to the top? The only way to gain XP in Blades is to either A) roleplay various aspects of your character, whether that is their chosen playbook (class) or their background/heritage; or B) put yourself in desperate situations, which earn you XP every time you roll.  If that type of gameplay appeals to you, Blades may be right up your alley! If you are interested and available on the weekend in the wee hours of the morning (or are Asian/European), post and let me know!  We will be using Discord for voice chat and for communication/scheduling during the week.  Like I said, the plan is to gather as much interest as possible and roll with that.  As of now, I am not committed to any type of campaign or crew, that will be up to you folks in the end.
Bump for the evening crowd, let me know if you are interested!
hey i just bought the blades in the dark book and was looking to learn the game if you don't mind a newbie? i have some experience with dnd and dungeon world so im not new to tabletop just to blades. i'd be able to do sunday then since i work saturdays unfortunately. its a bit early but i think i can make it work? been meaning to keep a more regular schedule anyway.
I have been interested in Blades in the Dark for a bit now and would like to give it a try, and as I'm in Europe the time slot works out rather well.
Hello ZasZ314, congrats on the daughter. I am interested in playing, Love the setting want to give it a go. Is the 7.1 version sufficient  to play?  Admittedly I have not read much of the book itself yet, but then I have not had the incentive of a potential game.  I have seen the game played by John Harper in a you tube show however so I have an idea of the setting and general gist from that and dishonored.  Experience wise I have a decent amount of time spent role playing over the last few years on roll20 mostly, played a load of different rule sets, got a feel for what I like.  And watched wayyy too much roleplay online.  The time slot Is a good one for me also.  I would like to discuss it further with you If you are interested in me playing. Good luck either way.
I've got a BitD hankering myself! Read through the book a few times (and checked out a few APs on Youtube), but haven't had a chance to jump in yet. I think I can make the time slot work (on Sundays, at least), so I'd love to take a crack at it.
