Looking for a game in a desert tipe setting :) gmt+1 but flexible

Hi everyone and thank you for taking the time to read , i have been wanting to play in a desert setting for quite a wile now , but most campaings tend to be in city's , forest , or the like , wich i think its probably normal as traveling in a desert can be a hard task with the sun , the heat , the sand , the marauders and i guess plenty more of problems xD , i guess i just like the idea of being in a campaing where most of its citys are of the tipe of aladin from disney , or stigia from conan , i saw a couple of days ago that there was a dungeons and dragons setting called Dark sun , and it seemed interesting , i dont know anything about it as i have never read it but i would love to try , so basically i am searching for a game in such a setting as i am seeking or a dm that maibe has the same idea as i do and wishes to start a game , my expirience its mostly with 3.5 , and 4e , i have played some pathfinder as well , and i would not mind at all learning to play even 2e , i would preffer to stay away from 4e though as really it just feels to much of a videogame to me , i could learn other sistem , just that this ones are the ones i know more and would like to play :) i live in gtm+1 but if the game would not happend at a crazy time id be sure to play , my open days right now are tuesdays , wednesdays and thursdays , so sorry for the wall of text and hope to hear from you :)

Aledas, I have long been a fan of Dark Sun. It is not like Aladin, however. For that you might try the Al-Qadim setting. There are many online assets and a fairly solid D20 conversion available. Just google search Al Qadim PDF and you will find plenty. Good luck in your search for a game.

Hi Rob and thanks for the info , i was reading a bit about Dark sun and it seems like a really harsh world , but something i like it seems its a low magic setting , i like mostly melee combat and little of magic as posible , so still Dark sun sounds apealing , allthough from what ive read it looks like its very easy to die :P , but ive never heard of Al Qadim so thanks a lot for that info , i am goin to check it out and see how it looks , just want to try a hole diferent setting for a change hehe :)

There will be all settings in my campaign since it's circles of Hell, does it need to be just desert? It's heavy rping and each circle has unique landscape.

Hi vernon , first of all thank you for the offer to join your campaing , i am interested in a campaing that its all based in this tipe of setting that i am looking for , and after Robs sugestion i checked out the Al-Qadim setting and it looks like exactly what i am looking for :) , the thing its that i am in a couple of campaings allready and so i do get my dnd fix each week :P , so i am looking for this setting or similar because its an idea thats been in my mind for sometime :) , as well i am not a big fan of overlly dark settings , playing in hell falls i belive in such a setting and so if i am not confortable in such a game i would not bring the best expirience to the table and probably just end up hindering the game , not sure if i am making sence here xD , so once again thank you for the offer but i want flying carpets and arabian like setting hehe @Rob M. thanks again for the suggestion , that setting looks really cool
