¡Hello!
First and foremost, I’ll talk about me:
My name is David , I am 32 years old, from
Spain , and I have been playing tabletop rpgs since I was 15. I am usually the
DM when I play with my local group of friends, we are into our second year of
my 5e homebrewed campaign with greek mythology and gods as a theme.
I started playing with D&D 3.0/.5 when I
was 15, and played that for a loooooooot of years, rotating DMs with my friends.
Then I got Anima Beyond Fantasy , and since it was a new game and I had the book I started DMing
that and I’ve got kind of stuck to the DM seat until now. Anima , Cthulu ,
D&D4e , Pathfinder , Mutants and Masterminds and now D&D5e . We do some
one-shots here and there when not everyone can make it to the main game, but
60% of the time it’s me DMing them, and even when my friends do it, a sporadic
One-Shot here and there does SO LITTLE to sate my thirst for playing… Also, my
friends are a bunch of combat addicts. Every time they are not fighting they
make “fast forward” sounds to me, wanting to get to the next skirmish…
Now, the issue at hand:
I would like to find a group to play here,
during a time that’s convenient to me and with someone else wanting to DM in
that time-frame. Usually, if I ever saw a post like this, my thoughts would be:
“ So selfish, if you want a game with such narrow constraints, DM it yourself! ”.
That was naïve me. Realist me has been looking for a group here for a while (a few
weeks already) and there is simply no one playing at a time that’s convenient for
me. Or I can’t find them, which is possible too. And DMing it myself would defeat the purpose of all of it so... That’s why I’m doing what I have been judging
from up my high horse all this time: Begging for someone that wants to DM and play
under my conditions. It makes me shiver.
I’d like a game that starts around 7-8pm in my

) and last for about to 3 hours. I’m free on weekdays at that time, or Sundays
all day. I’d like to play Dungeons & Dragons 5 th Edition, with
as little bans/prohibitions as possible. (I mean banning things out of the core
rule books, UA and homebrew should always go through the DM and he/she should
decide if it’s appropriate).
I would like it to be roleplay heavy (Usually I
say I like both the combat and the roleplay, but then it turns out a fight-fest
with little RP, I dunno why, let’s hope that saying “roleplay heavy” gets us a
fair share of both combat and RP J ), and I don’t really care if the
DM wants to Homebrew the campaign, or uses some premade material. Whatever
tickles his or her fancy. If a person agrees to DM in these conditions, the
least I could do is not impose into him/her more than is needed!
As I said, I’m sorry for doing this (begging
for a game under my conditions instead of putting it all together by myself),
but I saw no other options…
I hope there is more people interested in this,
either wanting to play or to DM!

P.S: I am Spanish, and as such my main language
is Spanish, but I also speak English quite fluently, with an accent, but
fluently, so language shouldn’t be a barrier between us!
