Greetings, I'm hoping to run a 5e game starting between two weeks to a month. I've run one session on roll20, but I've GMed a variety of games since 2002. I have some house rules and thoughts on the game. So, if you are interested, give me your thoughts. I don't always use maps as some instances of combat are short and to the point. I don't run sandbox games but use choice and consequences to allow players opportunities have both choices and direction in the game. My worlds are pretty dark but they sometimes have humor here and there. I use Faerun for geography but I hope to have Waterdeep be a center of an empire rather than a free city. I allow any character options from any of the published books. I LOVE story. If the rules get in the way, I just make a decision to save time. All encounters aren't based on character level. I like for players to make decisions about when to fight or fly. My wife has approved me playing again since our child is older (right on!). I have one or two people who want to play and am willing to run up to six people.
