Roll20 Lagging beyond reason.

It seems that all hardware acceleration is unavailable. This lead me to check my hardware and I realized I've been offloading PhysX to a second, lower end GPU. I haven't needed it in a long while since I upgraded to the GTX 465 so I'm going to remove it completely and see if that helps.
That did it. Chrome must have been, for lack of a better word, confused by my dual monitor/dual GPU setup. Both monitors are now working off of the GTX 465 and Roll20.net performance is good!
That's interesting. I also use a dual-monitor/dual-GPU setup. I'll check that out when I get home and post my results.
Riley D. said: Autumn said: No, rolling 1 dice was horrible, I can't imagine the terror or lag thereof if I were to roll more...the problem still persists, but the disable link from before helps reduce the strain. Rolling 1 dice with 3D Dice, you mean? Or just in the text chat? Rolling with 3D turned on. Text chat takes a while to show up sometimes but its not as bad.

Autumn said: Graphics Feature Status etc This is pretty much the same results I'm getting. I've even disabled the second GPU, made sure PhysX was set to my primary GPU (was set to CPU) and I'm currently in the process of updating my driver.
Okay I wanted to post an update regarding my personal issue. After taking all of the steps listed above, I am no longer experiencing this issue. I don't know if it was a combination of several factors or if the last step fixed it (updating my graphic driver), but I have tested it and it's now working for me in Chrome.

I have done every other step, except update my driver, I am doing so now with my fingers crossed. Yes, updating my drivers was the fix for it, everything is back and responsive.
Well, good to know that it was just a driver/GPU setup issue. And now we know how to quickly check for it so the next person with this issue won't have to go through as much trouble. The bonus is that now you all have a better Chrome experience on lots of sites, because even something as simple as CSS transitions that many sites use can take advantage of hardware acceleration. Thanks for sticking with it and helping us figure it out! :-)
