OOC I wish to congratulate the following players who have been chosen to proceed with me in this venture in learning the system: Peter R. with Zhar’Taa Kane with Kane Tony B. with Shorurra Jake Y. with UUH-Zero Jarod with Rhorhik I ask you please PM me your google account email so I can get you access to the Repository I posted to in the Character thread. Also, I'm going to need an image for your miniature. With that out of the way... I started this thread the way I did as I have a couple ideas on how to get you all together. The most common thread in your backgrounds concerning your involvement with Teemo was being in some sort of service to him, forced or otherwise. This gave me the idea that perhaps being in service to a Hutt isn't exactly in your future plans and it's time to make a get away. Thankfully, there's other like-minded individuals (the other party members) to act as allies. The exception being Zhar'Taa who could be finding himself aiding the others in his own escape from Teemo. As you start to develop your final copies for the game, I would like you to feel free to use this as a starting point in your RP. Tomorrow I will add an IC for the scenario to get you started, but for now, feel free to discuss with your fellow cast on how and why your character would have been brought to this point. If I beat you to the punch, feel free to still do so OOCly. Once again, congratulations, and I look forward to seeing the story we'll be telling together.

OOC I'm thinking UUH0 can start out in the same area as Rhorhik. Some sort of barracks for the arena as well as his Gamorreans. He'll be going bunk to bunk, or cell to cell giving aid for injuries and bacta injections for the diseases that normally happen in such living conditions. Teemo finds it easier to keep bacta on hand than to improve any of the squalor going on beneath his palace. OOC:Metagame I hope Rhorhik can pilot a ship
Hi all, I had started building Rhorhik as a hired gun marauder because it was the career/specialization that seemed to fit best for a denizen of a low tech world - or at least it gave the most low-tech skills. But as I saw Shorurra was on the same spec, I started to look for other options. I don't see Kane's concept in the concept thread, but if no-one has any piloting skill, I can give this orientation to Rhorhik: perhaps his time spent with pirates made him discover he had a knack for piloting.
Only if that's a character you want to play. I'm hoping this will be an RP heavy game.

My character is a slicer focusing on computers/mechanics/underworld stuff etc, and will most likely not have any piloting skills, as far as I can tell (still dabbling with the character creator)

No problem. Having piloting skills does fit well with the idea I have for this character. I chose bounty hunter - assassin. Just too bad there is ranged - heavy instead of ranged - light, but the rest is ok. Finally, a better fit than was the hired gun marauder.
Since Kane is a tech guy, it appears as if we have a pretty well rounded party. So that's always good. Just wanted to throw out there that perhaps Zero could find Shorurra in the arena cells as well, because Teemo wants Shorurra to work off the goods he lost as a gladiator. An idea the Wookie wouldn't be thrilled with considering his past.

"Even with one ventilation shaft down here, I wouldn't have to deal with so many cases of Gamorrean Mumps, Gamorrean Measles, Gamorrean Flu... and all those other diseases that seem to fit a common theme." Both of the guards standing outside the prisoner hallway stepped forward, Zero pulled the pass the major domo had given him out of his dirty robe, even though the guards knew why Zero was there. The Gamorreans working for Teemo all used gods knows what drugs in there spare time, so they assumed every needle they saw would make them feel good, or at least feel less bad. "Prisoners first today." Zero said, "Major domo said Teemo wants everyone ready for a good fight today, Some kinda party." The bigger one grunted impatiently. "You won't have to wait long. I hate it in the cell block, I can barely breath in there. In and out in a wink." One Gamorrean grunted quizzically at the other, as Zero quickly pushed his cart through the doors. "Okay, triage time." UUH-Zero said, visually scanning the cells. "Any new arrivals?"

OOC: Hey everyone. Glad to see you're making use of this time to get to know each other ;) Really liking what I'm seeing and so glad that we're getting such a diverse group together. Been noticing something with the use of the generator I wanted to point out: With the obligations: your starting should be 10, giving you a max of additional +10 for gaining credits and XP. You should have 15 obligation to start, 10 is your starting and 5 is from an additional obligation. I know in the creation thread I gave a max of 2k credits, but since the generator doesn't allow for that you can use the book standard that for +10 obligation you can get +2500 credits. Just wanted to throw that out so you're spending your obligation points correctly. Thanks everyone who has been putting their xml files on the gDrive. It's allowed me to catch errors like these as I look over your sheets. I'll also be using it in the future for the GM tools that the generator offers so please keep it up! I actually have the desktop gDrive installed so I pull the xmls directly from google and can save a new version. As of yesterday, a new version of the generator was posted, which I know for Jake fixes an issue we were having with his obligations sticking to his file. LOL End OOC
OOC So 10 starting obligation for everyone. 5 each for the group obligation that we are NOT tracking on our specific sheets? THEN an optional 5? So a character wanting +10xp would have 15 obligation on their sheet: 5xp for group obligation and 5xp for optional? /OOC

I've had some generators have a GM House Rule section. If you don't track the group obligation, you won't get the benefits of the extra XP or credits I'm allowing. If you are only using the extra obligation for extra credits you can easily do that buy just selling an item for the fixed amount, at least that's what I did... there is no way around the xp side without having all the obligation accounted for.

You should have a minimum obligation of 15. With the total of 20 points, you would gain those benefits. /ooc

OOC Looks like I have everyone's sheets. I'll be reviewing them tonight to make sure everything is in order. Edit : Just did a quick look at the xml files and it doesn't look like to me you folks are taking advantage of the extra XP/ Credits. On the Obligation tab, make sure the Starting Obligation drop down is set to 10. Then spend your points by checking the boxes. /ooc
Hopefully mine is okay, I made my character with a much older version of the generator since I already had it on my computer and it didn't have the drop boxes. I just added the credits manually from the +5 bounty.
