Hi all, thanks for reading this in advance! My name is Nikola, but Nik or Nikki works just as well. I'm new to Starfinder, but I've read through Core and I think I've got a somewhat good grasp of it. I have a character idea in my head that I'd love to play, but I can't find a game. I tend to prefer roleplay over mechanics and I really enjoy getting into the mindset of a character. As for availability, I can't play on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, but anytime Sunday-Wednesday works! I'd prefer a weekly campaign, but monthly, bi-weekly, or a one shot would also be fine. I'd be fine with a text or voice campaign through skype or discord, but I can't do video and voice. I'm also fine with mature concepts. Feel free to PM me for my skype or discord, or just to discuss more! Here's my character idea that I'd love to play, but I'd be fine with tweaking the race if an Elf wouldn't fit: Laerune Vandiir, usually called Laela by her friends, isn't a normal elf. She
comes from a highborn clan of powerful Mystics, Technomancers, and Solarians but
unlike the rest of her family, Laela had no magical aptitude. Because
she couldn't cast even the simplest of spells, she was neglected and
mostly left to raise herself. Her parents strictly raised her nine
siblings, expecting only the best. Laela's parents didn't have any
expectations for her. Laela started to mess around with
technology at an early age and discovered she had a talent for it. She
developed this talent as much as she could, using it as motivation to
give her the courage to leave her oppressive family and Castrovel entirely. At the young age of
75, she "borrowed" enough money and supplies from her parents to get to
the Absalom Station and stole away in the dead of night. She was later
informed that her family disowned her, but she had expected that anyway.
Even though she's considered Forlorn, Laela doesn't mind it. Due to her
childhood, she never really liked being around other Elves. She enjoys
the company other races much more, even the Drow. On the Absalom
Station, she received better education and training on engineering and
technology. As an adult, she finally got to live out her space-faring
dreams and started traveling about, doing mechanic jobs
wherever she could.
