Background Music

Anyone have any favorite picks for background music while GMing in Roll20?  I picked out a few nice ones, but am looking for some great mood music for my game.  Primarily looking for ideas on dungeon themes, battle themes, and if you have any others that are just plain amazing, please post!  Let me know the name of it so I can look it up in the jukebox.  Thanks!

BGM - Ambience - Crypts 1 by melodiousshark and  in the ruins : I use for creepy areas. I play it softly so it would be in the background Battle & Battle2 by AGAsimov : That is used for combat theme music sometimes. Main theme - revised by Ben Sizer is used for prologues or such. Morrowind - Battle Theme 6 by gankstar1868 is used during combat also or just prior to it .

Stephan Michael Sechi, the creator of the Talilsanta RPG and music composer, made three Talislanta-themed albums that are available for free download. SMS gave his permission to post the tunes so you don't have to worry about piracy. Both of these are great mood music. However, I am new to Roll20 and I don't know if we can use our own music or if we have to use what's in the jukebox...

So if I put something on Sound Cloud, how do I access it through Roll20's Jukebox? What if I just want to use music from my iTunes?

If the song or clip you want is already on Soundcloud, you can find a shared link, and paste that into the roll20 search bar. &nbsp;The song should pop up if it has all the right settings (within Soundcloud). &nbsp; Chances music that you have in your itunes library has copyrights, and therefore you won't be able to upload it into Soundcloud. &nbsp;Though you can create "clips" of songs or remix it yourself and upload that, but it all depends on how the copyright laws in your country works. Google "fair use copyright". &nbsp; I started using Audacity, which is free audio editing software and I've been able to mash together, edit all kinds of cool songs to use in roll20.&nbsp;

Ah. I see. Cool. Thank you! Well...good news: I'm a theatrical sound designer. Bad news: I'm not a musician or music designer. You guys are just gonna eat up alllll my free time making fun goodies aren't you?

Tommy, that would indeed be awesome. :) &nbsp;In case it hasn't been said in this thread, if you want to make your soundcloud music discoverable by Roll20, make sure you set it as "Public" and tag it with “Roll20”, “ambient” or “orchestral”.

If you are looking for scary/horror-type music, I just found an interesting tool at&nbsp; <a href="http://hypermammut.sourceforge.net/paulstretch/" rel="nofollow">http://hypermammut.sourceforge.net/paulstretch/</a> . &nbsp;Basically, it just slows down a music file (which generally can turn said song into horror-ish music).

Search for "WFRP" on Soundcloud for some pretty good "Warhammer related" music.

For medieval/fantasy, anything from Final Fantasy Tactics. Hands down my favorite background music for all fantasy genre games.
