Hey Everyone! Previously this post was about looking for active a group/players for a weekly/biweekly game. Since all the interest was people wanting to be players, I've happily accepted being a DM for a new group. (If you joined the game before you will notice that I've kicked you, this is because a moderator suggested that I make a LFG listing instead of directly linking everyone to the game. Apologies for the inconvenience.) The Goal. The goal is to set up weekly/biweekly gaming group for Dungeons and Dragons 5e. We won't be running published Wizards campaign modules, the campaign will be made by myself with players actively contributing to the story. The game will feature a good amount of role play and combat. How We Achieve The Goal. Firstly I need to find players. I'll be asking people who have shown interest for a quick interview to have a chat regarding the game and to start getting to know potential players. After I have at least four people I'll start running one-shot sessions to allow everyone to familiarize themselves with the group, and allow people to decide if they wish to stick around. Once we're happy with the group, we'll start looking at a long term campaign. The Players I'm looking for like minded individuals who are looking for mature game of Dungeons and Dragons. Mature doesn't mean age, rather their attitude to others and the game. Laughing and having fun is what this game is about, but I want everyone to respect the game and each other. I will do my best encourage and accommodate all players, regardless of age and gender. Times This is the tricky part. I live in Australia, in the GMT+11 timezone. I've had good success with playing with people all over the world, so I'm sure with a bit of organizing we can find a time to play that suits everyone. I don't work full time, so I can play at odd hours pretty easily.
