Hi everybody! Thanks for coming to look at my little ol' thread. I'm Joss (she/her), a 28 y/o Canadian (EST), and have been DM'ing a 5e campaign for 8 months, and playing in another for the past 4 months, with a writing/improv background that spans over a decade. I'm needy, though, so I'd like to look for another game to join! I would like to join a game that's LGBT+ friendly, with some cool hip cats who all get along and have good chemistry. I'm available Saturday nights after 6pm, Mon/Tues/Thurs *guaranteed* after 8pm, and consistently after 5pm, so I know this is running a wee bit late. West-coasters and Aus/Asia timezones welcome! I prefer voice on Discord, and roll20. As a player, I'm definitely on the story-telling and role-play heavy end of things, and although I do enjoy combat I'm far from being Optimized(TM). In terms of campaigns, I'd like to avoid Hoard of the Dragon Queen / Rise of Tiamat as I'm already in a group going through this campaign, and running my own Curse of Strahd, but otherwise am open to both modules or home brew. I'm happy to either join a new group being formed for a specific campaign, or to jump into something on-going and pick up the slack wherever it's needed. In general, I'd prefer to play a Rogue or Bard, but honestly I'm happy to play most classes (Does YOUR group need a cleric??? I can do cleric!!!). I like to be a bit subversive with characters and play with character expectations-- one of my favourite one-shots I played a Rogue impersonating a Paladin for the entirety (with mixed-to-positive results). Beyond that, I like to tailor a character to a specific campaign, but I like playing well-meaning snarkmasters and fools with a heart-of-gold. Monstrous races are golden, but hardly a requirement.
