I am currently looking for new players for a Morgansfort campaign with Basic Fantasy Role-playing held at 6pm MST on Saturdays. Ground Rules and Expectations The game is a dungeon/hex-crawl oriented sandbox game. Played BTB, RAW with no mulligans, do-overs or freebies. Characters may die from poor planning or bad luck. I play as an impartial referee, not a 'storyteller' or 'fun manager'. I do not run 'killer dungeons' or 'try' to kill players, but I will make no attempt to avert that fate should the dice indicate it. Because of this, and the nature of the game mechanics, players are expected to roll up two complete characters at table before their first session, and choose one of them to be their primary and another as a backup. Players are expected to be good about communicating and attending sessions on time. If players can not make a session they are expected to give as much forewarning as is possible. Disinterest/other plans are not acceptable reasons - do not apply if you are prone to random outings that conflict with the game schedule. Play is expected to begin more or less immediately at the given session time. Minor breaks for drinks, etc. can be taken but frequent 'AFK' moments are not acceptable. Players are expected to manage their own book keeping - if you don't record experience, treasure, etc. you don't have them. Bearing in mind the above, players new to BFRPG, OSR games and Roll20 are certainly welcome. The game is easy to learn, hard to master and players must be proactive in trying to learn the basic mechanics, especially those which relate to their character, but I am more than happy to help when I am available and during games. If players have questions not answered here or on the campaign page they may contact me on Discord or the Campaign forum, I will try to respond in a timely manner.
