I'm new, and trying to find a game. D&D pretty much any edition.

I'd like to try this thing, but it seems like most GM's are looking for people who know what they're doing (experienced). Which puts me at a distinct disadvantage. Hopefully someone out there needs someone who has no clue as to what is going on?

Hi Finnvarr. Something that will help is --- put your availability in this thread. What time zone are you in, and what times of day & which days of the week would you be open to playing? The opening that I have, looking for a player & open to New Players, it's on Mondays in the afternoon (USA times). If you're free for a daytime game, send me a message asking about "Song World AD&D 2E" and we'll talk more about getting you started.
If you're familiar with or willing to learn AD&D, we have a 2nd edition campaign going that could use another player
As Gold said, having availability helps a lot. If you are interested in trying D&D4E you are welcome to join The Guild Living Campaign. We have a lot of resources for new players so you won't be at such a disadvantage. If you are interested toss me a PM on here or message me on skype at gravymattingly for more details.
Thank you for the heads-up Gary. I can usually play on weeknights, and weekends. Evenings are usually pretty good.
If you want to dip a toe in and get some experience with the game mechanics and the Roll20 UI, without getting committed to an ongoing campaign, check out my weekly open table pvp league.
Don't forget time zone, your weeknights might be someone elses mornings.
Hello. A friend and I are starting a homebrew campaign. Playtimes are Sunday 9a-12p eastern. If that's not too really for you, you're welcome to join. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/103483/vile-darkness

I'm going to have to pass I'm afraid. I got an invite to a Post apocalypse game and my downtime is pretty limited. Thank you for the consideration though.
