We've got a group of friends, and we're starting a new campaign from the ground up. I'll be DMing and we have three regular players, and two others who will be playing sporadically (we'll work this into the story). We're looking for one or two more players who'd like to join and stick around for the long haul. We've been playing as a group for months now. Our last game is winding down and we've lost two people, so we're looking for some replacements. We do have some requirements: Must be able to show up each week. Must have a webcam and use it. Must meet and greet with the group before we select you to join us (to make sure we all get along). Roleplay focused. We're not real life actors, but we do like to roleplay our characters. That being said, we do have ooc laughs often. Expect some fun combat, but there will be some nights with no combat. Character creation will be mostly a one-on-one with me, working out backstory. Players should keep their past a secret, and let it come out via RP instead of OOC. We'll be playing on Roll20. We use Discord for voice and video. We'll likely record sessions and post them on youtube for fun. You'll need to be ok with that (and use a webcam). Knowing the crew we have, the party will generally be chaotic good aligned. Although we're currently an all male group, this game is female friendly and we'd love some more diversity. Several of us have young daughters - you'll find us to be friendly and easy to get along with. About the game: Our first session will involve world-building and character creation. Players will have input into aspects of the world at the beginning before we start playing. This is a custom homebrew world, set in a high fantasy / dark fantasy setting. We have no pre-defined campaign plotline yet. A lot of this will be based on character backstories. Instead of one really really long ongoing campaign, we'll be running story arcs that may last 1-4 sessions or so. Each story arc will add to the overall story, build on the overall campaign, but also there will be character downtime between storylines and the opportunity for using the downtime rules.
