[LFP] in need of 1-2 players for homebrew 5e

Hello, I am currently looking for one or maybe two real cool players to refill empty spots in my campaign.  games are weekly, saturday nights at 9pm est.  discord is used for voice so its important you have that and include it in your application we are currently 2 sessions into this campaign so its still easy for new people to slide on in this is a homebrew campaign with a big ol world and stuff so please refrain from writing any sort of backstory yet, the party already has a wizard, paladin, ranger, monk and rouge so keep that in mind.  all I ask of you is this: well applying I want you to tell me about you as a person, your hobbies and intrests and such this way I can hopefully deem who I will and wont get along with cause im very picky about selecting some of you dorks >:/  as a disclaimer: please do not PM me your applications, PMing me asking to play proves you didnt read all of this post as I am asking you now to not do that. I am looking for a faithful player who wont let me down and will invest in me as i invest in them so if thats you please apply!
Can you say a bit about the vibe of your homebrew world? Scheduling might not be great but I'm curious.

And generally typical fantasy? I'm most interested in stories. Fights are fun and doing cool things is awesome but I love the stories. Even though roleplaying is definitely not my strongest skill, that doesn't stop me from trying. Usually I'm just here for starfinder, spaceships are super rad,  but I kind of want to stretch a bit more into 5e. I think the little you've said here has potential. I do hope that the group is open and respectful. At the moment, I don't feel like I have much time for interests be they generally involve making things. Being busy is why I'm liking these online RPGs. However, I'm probably not available until an hour after your start time.

Spaceships are real rad but 5e has really opened the window on creativity and thats only more realized in a homebrew world where rules are flexible.

Hey there, I'm am very new or should i say newer to D&D, I have not played since i was young (39 now) 2nd edition and would like to get back into the fantasy worlds again. I know its a long shot finding a host for someone with my nill experience but if you want a fast learner that's generally interested in learning the game again i'm very interested.
Hey There! My name's Akir and I'm interested in your campaign.  I do have Discord, which I can PM to you later if you like. I'm on PST timezone and available at 9PM EST (which would be 6PM for me) on Saturdays, weekly.  A little bit about myself, to expand on my recent "Looking for Group" post: I'm 27 years old, with about 13 years experience in roleplaying from D&D, to Pathfinder, and many other mediums from forums, to various video games, and live action tavern roleplay as well. I enjoy creating lively and unique characters with interesting flavor and fun personalities. I dislike "min-maxing" and playing up just on numbers and whatnot. Instead, I much prefer to build a character and the skills they take as they level up surrounding a general "theme" for the character themselves. I'm fine with playing any type of alignment or class, and I enjoy having fun with different races and personalities. My personal hobbies include things like board games, drawing, drinking coffee, baking sweets, and playing with my puppy. I work super long hours (12 hours a day monday through friday, yeesh!) and I'm super thankful that my work allows me to listen to music and whatnot while I toil away over DMV paperwork. (I know right? Yeeeesh!) I spend most of that listening time with D&D podcasts and a very wide range of music from Folk Metal to Korean Rap and everything else in between. Oh, I also collect seashells? I enjoy a good laugh, and I feel like I have a pretty decent sense of humor, and an open personality where I can get along with a diverse array of people and personalities. If you'd like to know more about me, or if you have any questions, please feel free to PM me, or message me over Skype under Oracle_Akir. (Again, I'd be happy to give you my Discord through PM if you're interested.) I hope you have a wonderful evening!
My name is Orae. I'm fairly new to DnD but am highly interested in DnD. I have discord for voice chat. I am in a central time zone and will be able to make the times for the campaign.
Hi, I've been using Roll20 for some time now. I haven't been on for about a year or so, though, so I might be a bit rusty. Here's a little bit about what I hope to get out of a campaign: Availability : I'm available any time during the evenings (say, past 5:30 CST, GMT-5), and all weekends. About Me : Somewhat new to D&D and Pathfinder (About two years). I'd say that I'm moderate in terms of experience. A good GM would make all the difference. I'm an immersioner / RPer in MMOs, so I have a lot of "experience" with my preferred character's personae. I'm aware of the potential in RP for Meta-gaming, God-Moding, etc., and feel as if I do a very good job at not coming across that way. I'm over 30, but my inner child pretty much runs the place! :P It's very important that the group have a mature mindset. I'm just not sure I'd be comfortable with anyone under 18, and would prefer a median group age of around 25 or so. Preferred Character / Playstyle : I do love the Mystic / Psionic class. For DnD 5E, I spent a LOT of time putting together a sheet, and I'm very pleased with it. I think I may have some 3.5 and Pathfinder Psionic sheets out there, too. It's not necessarily homebrew, per se, but I think it is still considered official WotC playtest material, as the Mystic class is not officially part of 5E yet. A psionic character kind of ties into the "personae" that I've been RPing with in the past. Again - not a deal breaker. I've played several classes, and would be willing to give something else a go for a good group / GM. I'd be willing to message some proposed character sheets to whomever would like to see them. Obviously, some changes may have to be made depending on the GM's method of character creation / point allotment, and interpretation of the variable rules of the class. I'm not interested in a pre-made backstory, but I am quite flexible  - (details and such needed in order to fit into the campaign are fine, but no "You're the bastard son of a rich nobleman." "You've been in the guard for 20 years. etc.). Immersion is important to me. Should you allow some of my existing L1 characters, you'd find that Roelon's story is very much within canon, and is very adaptable. I'm fine with some changes for the good of the campaign, but I have a general template that I would like to stick to. Preferred Playstyle : I'd prefer that the campaign spans multiple sessions. I'm down with one-shots, too. I'd just hope that a GM is willing to put in the effort for an immersive setting. In my experience, not many one-shots get that level of attention. I'm not sure if playing with a large party is right for me. I've been in a party of 12, and it was a charlie-foxtrot. Having only played a few games in the past, I'm not sure if these even needs to be said - but I'd prefer an RP-style game. I'd prefer to play with MATURE people. That's a relative term, of course, but it's important. Twenty-somethings and up comes to mind, but I don't want to be so limiting. I'm ok with homebrew rules - but nothing too crazy. I'd prefer to stick with "normal" stuff. GM : Immersion! That's a big one for me. Draw us into your world! Make us want to explore / fight / whatever. Put a little effort into it. I don't really care if you have dynamic lighting or high-res maps, but I'm not really interested in looking at a blank grid / hand drawn stuff akin to MS Paint 90% of the time. (This shouldn't even really need to be said, but sadly, that was the experience I had some time ago.) Willing to contribute to paid GM . Now, there's limitations. Not willing to pay for one-shot sessions. Would like to get a feel for a GM before committing to anything. "Roelon Geraux"
