Hello, I'm Hakeem and i'm looking for a dnd 5e group to play with around 5:00pm or 8:00pm EST time on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays but i'm open for negotiation on what time it starts. As far as experience concerned i've played Adventure League mostly for about half a year now. I'm looking for a continual group for now rather than just waiting for games to be posted every time so if your looking for a long game player then then i'm your man. Reason why i want a long game relative to adventure league is so i can see my character progress with a consistent party rather than being a sort of freelance agent with a bunch of associates that just disappear from an adventure and, well that and to make friends. In terms of play style i like to make my character optimized but i'm not a power gamer. when building characters I think of it as a game of sorts and pick a role of the 4 types (dps, tank, healer, support) and design my character around that role. As far as the role play aspects i can hold my own and i'd enjoy it but, i only really get into it if the other players do the same. In some cause i'd rather use text to talk in role play but, i do have discord so i can communicate. My favorite roles include: Sorcerer, Warlock, Monk, Fighter, and Bard. Favorite races: Variant Human, Half-Elf, Tiefling, and Tabaxi. If your game has room for another player and you wouldn't mind having me, Pm me. Other info about myself : I'm 21 this year but 20 at the moment so 18+ content is fine i don't mind. If the other players are new players i don't mind as well, if they ask for help i'll do what i can or, give advice. Depending on how fun the games turn out to be i may want to record it. That and i may or may not make a comic out of it if the adventure is fun and is a progressive story. I can't stream at the moment but i do have a way of recording and posting to youtube. Though thats just for fun and to share with the community. I'm a freelance digital artist that does commissions so let me know if you want some art done. ** Just a thing i like if possible but not going to complain if its not there just thought i'd mention it .I came across and interesting alternative rule in pathfinder that can help add more flavor to a game in helping distinguish people even more as well as making the game feel more realistic. That is the Alternate rule on Armor Class (AC) in which armor worn doesn't add to the ac but does Damage Reduction (DR) instead. Besides that Armor classes name is switch to Defence and applies all normal rules the same as ac but armor doesn't add to it. I feel this makes since in that the whole reason a person wears armor is to negate damage when they get hit not make them somehow un-hit able. It adds flavor in that it can help distinguish things like what type of Tank you are in the party. My examples are Classic Tank ( the guy wearing full plate armor and maybe a shield), Meat Shield( the guy with alot of health a.k.a. the barbarian or druid if they really care to), and Dodge Tank ( neo for the matrix would be proud and the enemy even more frustrated at this guys hip hoping and flip flopping through his attacks with his HIGH dex).
