Tracker and switching between maps

In tonight's session of the Ravenloft game I am Gm'ing I had an issue with the initiative tracker I hadn't experienced before. I would like some insight to this as it may have been user error. The party had begun the encounter in an old church building with a hole in the floor. As the encounter progressed several of the party member's either fell through the floor or jumped in resulting in me running combat on two different maps. I didn't see any trouble with the tracker but the PC's were saying that they couldn't see themselves or anything else in the tracker on one of the maps. Do we need to adjust the tracker if the party splits?

My guess is that you did not add their tokens on the second page to the turn tracker. Players will only see the tokens added to the turn tracker for the map they are currently on. If this is the case then the turn tracker is working correctly. Here is a post from Riley when this was introduced in the Mentor posts regarding Rugged Reroll: You can now add Turn Tracker items from any page. But players will only see items in the list for the page they are currently on, so keep that in mind. Let me know if this starts causing a lot of confusion in your games, or if it's a big help and makes things less confusing (e.g. not more "why can't I add a turn? Oh, I have to close this and re-open it."
