I typically wear the DM hat in my group and I would like to be a player for a change. Me and at least one of my regulars (my wife) are interested. Systems D&D 3.5, 4e, 5th (Know these best) Pathfinder (Have a good handle on it) Dragon Age (Will need to revisit the lore) Song of Ice and Fire (Don't know it, but want to check it out) Serenity (We are all firefly fans and had fun with the system before) Times Thursday around 7pm CST works best for us. Need to call it a night by midnight. Can work late night Saturday (after 10pm) Style Balanced Role Playing and Tactics Casual players mostly I understand min/max and it understand its value, but we don't focus on it as a group. Interesting characters are more fun for me and I leave "playing a build" to MMOs (I may sample from a guide or use a guide to avoid pitfalls, but other than that I build what to fit my character.) Experience varies. I have been in and out of RPGs and I am a bit rusty and as a DM i make a lot of calls on the fly rather than slow down the game. My wife is a DM's wife, knows how to play, enjoys playing, but most of her knowledge is second hand. The third player would be the least experienced but is a quick learner and creative We are here to have fun and throw dice. Thats about it. Long term desired but will take short term games. Also willing to do a round robin DM. If anyone can hook us up with a game that would be awesome Thanks in advance and happy gaming to all.
Also consider Star Trek. We all like Star Trek and I have always wanted a reason to learn the game.
If you guys end up finding a DM for the Thursday slot and end up needing another player, I'm presently looking for a longterm group and that time slot may work out very well for me.

Sounds good man. You have a game preference?
I have recently fallen in love with pathfinder (and all resources are free, so thats a plus) I DO have a book for dnd 3.5 and 4.0 as well so I am OK with those too.
Yeah I'm running PF right now and really digging it.
I'm not sure what party size you are looking for, but I have a good friend who is a super creative RPG vet that may be interested in joining for a pathfinder game.
