[LFP] [5e] [AEST] Home Brew Game following from LMoP

My group has been playing through the Lost mine of Phandelver and have recently completed most of the content there. They're moving now into some home brew content and unfortunately one of my players has had to drop due to a scheduling conflict. I'm looking for someone to join us and bring the number back up to 5. My games tend to be Role Play focused rather than Roll Play focused, meaning I like to put a lot of emphasis on character interaction and growth. My world tends to be a living breathing thing that reacts to the players presence and decisions, so understanding your character and the way they interact with the world around them is fairly important. Having said that, I love to have new players, so if that seems a little daunting, don't fret. Many of my current players were new to D&D when they started and this group is extremely friendly and helpful and will be more than willing to accommodate your foray into the wonderful world of D&D. Of course veteran players are also welcome to apply. Our games run Friday nights, 6:30 AEST and typically fun for about 4-5 hours, and ideally I'm looking for players who are either in an Australian time zone, or who understand the implications of daylight savings changes. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/105449/beyond-phandelver#newtopic
I would like to join you if you'll have me. I live in New Zealand, so our time zones are fairly similar. Only issue is that I have rather little experience in D&D, I was looking to get into it. My only real experience is with Neverwinter Nights, which I played with a friend once for a couple of afternoons, and I've watched others play it a fair bit, but that's really about it. Oh, that and I tend to play female characters in everything, so I'm not really sure how to role play that exactly. I'll try not to make an ass of myself.
